I just want to make sure I fully understand the situation. A foreigner immigrates to the U.S. This foreigner then receives taxpayer-backed SBA loans only offered to immigrants. Soon after, this same foreigner is then allowed to use the H-1B visa program to hire people from his homeland. Meanwhile, Heritage Americans who want to start businesses aren’t even offered such loans and must also compete against foreigners for jobs. This foreigner could have stayed in his homeland, started his business there, and hired his countrymen without needing to apply for work visas. Yet, this foreigner comes here to take advantage of Americans with the help of our own government because our country is an economic zone for the world. Do I have that right?

@JohnnyUtah_____ @FLDadReborn Property rights still apply, whether it’s a homestead or a not. Property taxes are wrong no matter what. Tax on purchase. Ok. Cap gains tax? Dont like but possible. But an endless tax on some imaginary value of the property and being able to seize property is wrong.

@pilot_DeX @FLDadReborn The property tax relief is for homesteaded residences, not rental properties. So the landlord’s tax bill on a rental doesn’t disappear, and renters still get hit if the lost revenue is shifted into sales taxes, fees, or service cuts.

It’s wild how many people are upset that Governor DeSantis is lowering taxes. Yes, cities will attempt to raise them again but let them make that case to the voters and show where and why it’s necessary. But the longer they’re allowed to absorb the extra revenue from increased property values, the harder it will be to pullback. Now was the time for action and I appreciate @RonDeSantis leading the way once again. 🇺🇸🐊

@BobBeRight @FLDadReborn Sounds like a person who doesn’t have rentals. When a local jurisdiction increases the prop taxes those expenses are 100% passed on to the tenants. And all the neighboring rentals also had their taxes go up. Yeah markets. But the gov is forcing all prices up. Be smarter.

@pilot_DeX @FLDadReborn Not really. That's not how markets or pricing works. Property taxes at best have an indirect effect on rental prices, but rental prices are determined by the market, not individual landlord costs.

Saylor / Strategy selling a few raspberries isn’t causing bitcoin to crash. The reality is that there is a massive parabolic spike in AI-related equities that is vacuuming up all excess liquidity, multiples of bitcoin’s market cap. On top of that, labor market is healthy and energy prices are up, so sentiment for dovish rate cuts is nowhere to be found. Bitcoin’s fundamentals have never been better even if the macro environment isn’t doing it any favors.
