@MikeCarlton01 How disgusting is our government that Israel can start an illegal war, bomb oil fields to escalate and the only ones being condemned are Iran for actually defending themselves? I will be voting Green tomorrow here in South Australia, all the other parties are owned by the lobby.

The face of a man surrounded by people who couldn't give a DAMN about the banning of Hizb ut-Tahrir but who rightfully recognise the extent of the Albanese government's betrayal & support for Israel.

@Jansant It's Burke's electorate, he would have known what to expect. I bet they're disappointed it wasn't a wild out of control riot so Zionists could demonise Australian Muslims and call them antisemitic and un-Australian. Bad luck for them it was just a mild bit of heckling.

@noplaceforsheep Footage of a couple of burning cars doesn't really compare with the massive destruction of infrastructure we saw in Gaza.

@RonniSalt @Dr_LCorredor @abcnews Perfectly reasonable response PM needs to start listening to all of us for a change Not the .4% who are Zionists Not just the people at Lakemba Many former Labor families would boo him for following the USA and for appearing to support genocidal violent murderous Israel

@KeenyDhk @abcnews I'm sorry, did you miss Albanese and Burke's full throttled support of the US in all of that? Did you miss AUKUS? Did you miss the past 3 years where the Albanese govt have done nothing but bow to the Israel lobby and toady & acquiesce to their every whim? Aren't shirking it?

@peartonjohnson Those MP's who stood up to him were quickly shifted out of Cabinet. Those remaining are obviously too cowered to speak up.

@ItsBouquet Nope. Just fronted up to a mosque expecting a hero's welcome. Most there were polite but a few told him what he needs to hear about our involvement with Israeli invasions and genocide.

Not quite right and I'm saying this as someone living in Germany who watched the press conference. Germany didn't withdraw because the pro-Israel position became "untenable." That framing implies a moral awakening. It's not. The new Merz government made two things clear: First, this intervention was decided by the previous Scholz/Baerbock administration and not them. They explicitly distanced themselves from that decision. Second - and I guess this is the real reason - Germany is now itself a defendant before the ICJ. Nicaragua sued Germany for complicity in genocide over weapons deliveries to Israel and the suspension of UNRWA funding. When you're in the dock yourself, you focus on your own defense first. That's legal strategy and political distancing. Not a change of heart. Not a moral reckoning. Don't read into it more than it is. Unfortunately x.com/quotendeutsche…

@MsTrueWilberry @DaveMilbo About time they felt some blow-back. They seem to be in a bubble of Zionist adulation and aren't hearing the wider community's view of ME wars and genocide. Get out more @AlboMP

@DaveMilbo The two this morning were angrily *heckled & booed* by some & had to make a hasty exit stage right. The audacity of thinking they can swan in after everything that's come before & now & it'll be fine. I think they got the 'Get utterly fucked' msg, well, at least until next time.

Utterly sick of Australian politicians of any description, but particularly the Prime Minister and state Premiers, complicitly supporting Israel’s atrocity, barbarism and crimes against humanity, and then rocking up to a mosque for photo ops and brownie points. Get utterly fucked

Spain's Prime Minister Just Said In Parliament What Most World Leaders Only Dare Think In Private. Pedro Sanchez walked into the Spanish parliament and delivered the address that dozens of world leaders have composed privately and then carefully buried before anyone could hear it. He did not bury it. Standing before his parliament with cameras rolling Sanchez made a direct and substantive indictment of eighteen days of American decision making under Trump — arguing that the international community has reached the point where polite silence is no longer a responsible option and that what is happening must be called out for exactly what it is regardless of the political cost of saying so out loud. Sanchez did not arrive at this moment without building toward it deliberately. Spain permanently withdrew its ambassador from Israel. It refused American military forces access to its bases for Iran str*kes. It recognized Palestinian statehood. It imposed a full arms embargo. Every decision carried significant political weight and significant political cost. What he delivered in parliament is the clearest and most comprehensive articulation yet of the position those decisions collectively represent. A growing number of governments are watching Spain's trajectory and taking careful notes. The countries that move next will not be doing so without having studied how Sanchez built his case step by step over months before making his most direct statement yet. Is Sanchez showing the world the leadership this moment demands — or is he making a dangerous enemy of the wrong person? Sound off below. #PedroSanchez #Spain #Trump #Iran #OperationEpicFury

Wow! Peter Hartcher’s SMH talking sense! If this is not a wake up call to the Labor Cabinet nothing will be. Surely the political, economic and social impact of US/ Israel imperialism must dawn on the Cabinet. If not, the Caucus, branches and membership must demand peace not war!

6/ So let’s connect the dots. • A convicted rapist running the campaign • A candidate with 15 family violence breaches • Her own son with a brothel conviction + DV plea • And the leader herself claiming victims are liars This isn’t “one bad apple”. This is a pattern. One Nation’s voter base keeps cheering the anti-woke, “protect Australian values” rhetoric… while the party platform and inner circle keep showing the same attitudes toward women and accountability that we see in these scandals.

The dark history of Pauline Hanson and the One Nation party. Read the entire thread. This includes associations with convicted rapists and individuals charged with domestic violence. It also covers her son’s involvement in an illegal brothel case and his domestic violence charges and plea. This is only the beginning. Make sure to share this widely and leave a comment. Her voter base appears to reflect similar attitudes toward women’s rights as seen in her son’s actions. #auspol #onenation #auspol

Melbourne is a great city and its people have plenty of things to be proud of. But surely one of our crowning achievements is being the town that told Vile Kyle to piss off. Truly excellent stuff, and everyone in Sydney should be thanking us for doing what needed to be done
