In 2010 , Florida voters ( 62%) passed a Fair Districts law that barred gerrymandering to benefit one party
Ron DeSantis had his 10 yr census in 2020, then he CHANGED the legislature approved maps to add 4 GOP SEATS that ultimately threw US HOUSE
HE now wants to add more GOP seats ( 3x in 6 yrs) without going to the voters like CA and VA did
We voted for fair districts , therefore WE SHOULD DECIDE via a ballot initiative
Now he promised a quid pro quo gerrymander to Trump in exchange for a job in the administration so he can further suck off the taxpayer teat
Trump is now under water in Florida .. and DeSantis is treading at 50.%
Both desperate .. both enemies of democracy

Speaker Mike Johnson personally represents one of the most gerrymandered districts in the country.
The two colored districts on the map are the only ones in Louisiana with Democratic representation.
Republicans packed minorities and Black voters into these two oddly shaped, contorted districts so they could more easily win the remaining seats.

Democrats' redistricting proposal in Virginia is VIOLATING State Law 30-19.10, which requires amendment proposals to use a "neutral explanation."
This gerrymandering attempt clearly violates this law by framing the Democrat proposal as "restoring fairness" in elections.
This should be investigated.

It is insulting to call one of the oldest allies, a country that sent soldiers to Normandy, Korea, Afghanistan, a state of the Union that should be absorbed.
It is insulting to threaten economic warfare against a neighbour whose economic integration with America runs so deep.
It is insulting to interfere in the internal politics of a sovereign ally - funding preferred candidates, amplifying separatist movements, treating a democratic election as an opportunity for destabilisation.
It is insulting to stop traffic at the Friendship Bridge, a structure Canada literally built and named after the relationship being dismantled by the people now calling it insulting.
