I just noticed something. Rotimi Amaechi was not present to pick up his nomination form. I learned that Atiku Abubakar sent his son to pick up the form on his behalf. Only Hayatu-Deen picked up his form in person, surrounded by supporters. Optics matter, and this reveals who would genuinely be a “present” and not an absentee president if elected by the Nigerian people.

Can someone check on Atiku? I haven’t seen the usual gra gra or any tweet from him since Obi escaped from his grip. His last direct tweet was on May 1. Is this not an admission that Atiku’s only joy or hope of winning was Peter Obi? Imagine a man who can't win an election with his own records, yet refuses to openly respect the person whose record he wanted to leverage on just because of pride. All the Dino, Dele Momodu, and the rest of them know their only hope was Obi. Since he left, all they talk about is Obi leaving - Obi didn’t wait, Obi can’t face primaries. Why have you all gone silent about Atiku? Is he in a coma? I pray God forgives you guys because your level of disrespect for the person you look up to was out of this world. Maybe you were taking his quietness for foolishness. Again, where is Atiku?

Atiku contesting in the 2027 presidential elections is still a win for Peter Obi and Obidients. Atiku has no die-hard supporters. Every single supporter of Atiku is interested in that dollar in Agbada. Atiku and Tinubu supporters are like sesame twins. Atiku would split Tinubu’s vote, but not Peter Obi.
