Is it my belief that women and girls should have their own public changing rooms and bathrooms? That women should retain female-only rape crisis centres? That men don’t belong in women’s sport? That female prisoners shouldn’t be incarcerated with violent men and male sex offenders? That women should remain a protected class in law, because they have sex-specific needs and issues? That language should reflect reality rather than ideological jargon, especially in a medical context? That women shouldn’t be harassed, persecuted or fired for refusing to pretend humans can change sex? That women should not be threatened with violence and rape when they assert their rights? That freedom of speech and belief are essential to a pluralistic democratic society? That troubled minors, especially those who are gay, autistic and trauma-experienced, should be given mental health support instead of irreversible surgeries and drug treatments on non-existent evidence of benefit? The vehicle towing drive will soon resume in the city to ease traffic congestion. The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP), in coordination with the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) is set to relaunch the vehicle towing drive across the city shortly to tackle traffic congestion & illegal parking. Medical Student Dies by Suicide Over Online Gaming Debts in Bidar Bidar A 21 year old #MBBS student at the #Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences was found dead in his hostel room late night, with police confirming suicide linked to mounting online gaming debts. Staff discovered the body of Anishkar Chouhan, a native of Salgar Tanda in #Kalaburagi , around 12:30 am on Monday. Forensic experts and Scene of Crime Officers (SOCO) conducted an inspection, after which BRIMS doctors confirmed the death as suicide. Police revealed that Anishkar had suffered losses of nearly ₹80,000 through #OnlineGaming platforms. He had borrowed approximately ₹70,000 from friends to cover his debts. While no physical suicide note was recovered, WhatsApp messages indicated he was overwhelmed by financial pressures. Police confirmed the motive was strictly tied to online gaming. Deleted data from Chouhan's phone is being retrieved to check for other possible factors. His father has arrived in Bidar to provide a formal statement.
