Ordered a pair of Minisforum A2's to build out a home data center. 192GB RAM / 4TB NVMe / 10Gbit NICs / 32 Zen5 Cores @ 5.4ghz. All-in €2,398. To just get access to this level of RAM on, say, Heroku, you'd need 14 Perf-L dynos, which would cost $7,000/month or $84,000/year!

@sneub @SaashaGupta @better_auth Yes, every auth framework requires a database url, why increasing complexity of the codebase, when you can use supabase for everything But thanks for telling me about better auth I will try it in my upcoming projects.

@sneub @SaashaGupta Yes, that's a good choice. I personally never used it. Does it provide authentication, buckets, and all the services that Supabase provides?

@SaashaGupta PostgreSQL with Prisma ORM would be a great choice. If you're using PostgreSQL, consider mentioning Supabase as well—it runs on PostgreSQL and adds more weight to your tech stack by introducing an additional tool.
