I have been, and I know what you're saying, and for some reason I still don't care. I also tend to think clothed women look better in general and that the only true way to appreciate a naked body/beauty is when her eyes are looking up into mine. In contrast, one of the least attractive things I've ever seen an attractive woman do is that crab walk pelvic thrust that strippers do, especially at the full nude bars. I don't know how men think that's attractive. Then again, porn is a billion dollar industry who's supposed "money shot" is the filming of a dude jacking himself off, so I may be in the minority.

If it involves people working out problems in real time, seeing how smart people think and behave, cool! But then again, podcasts also have somewhat of a Must See TV quality to them as well, as you feel like you're on the precipice of the latest issue(s) of the day. It's not purely about information injection. Comedy and tension cutting are aspects as well.

I've never listened to a podcast for more than 3 or 4 minutes. I don't have the patience to listen to people ramble on while I wait for them to talk about something I might be interested in. I'm not sure there's ever been a less efficient way to transmit information.

Unless we're talking about which has the best holidays and countries and stories and people and music and architecture and overall aesthetics, then Christianity 100% for me. I like to listen to smart people have conversations, especially over things they disagree on, and I don't like those conversations to be governed by some 3rd party's strict time or decency rules. e.g. when Sam Harris had on Jordan Peterson, or Ezra Klein, or you. I suppose if you have enough interesting conversations in your own life, you've not an itch to scratch.
