@MrBusinge I pity most of you who attach feelings and emotional connections to Ugandan politics. But go on. It's your right. This country is rubbish.

🚨This is Ocokan George Leonard. He used to be head of IT systems at Diamond Trust Bank, that's where Speaker Anita Among recruited him to join Parliament as head of IT. His professional certification is PRINCE2, a project management certification, not a technical hacking one. Some people say he studied at Kampala International University, but that kind of advanced system access and hacking ability doesn't usually come from a general university degree. Those skills are normally built from years working inside secure bank networks, plus self-study or specialized cybersecurity training. Question remains unanswered... Since he only lists PRINCE2 on his LinkedIn and came from DTB bank systems, where exactly did he learn these advanced hacking and system access skills in cybersecurity???
Tabz@NinyeTabz

This is Ocokan George Leonard; former head of IT systems DTB bank from where AAA hired him into parliament as head of IT or something like that. @SpireJim will be interested to know where this guy acquired his hacking skills from!

The AAA situation has given extortionists conditions to thrive. Even people who can't read or write are threatening people with reports. Imagine Lyantonde claiming "he and his team authored a report" about you. What team? What report? He can hardly write his name.

UPDATE: Police car carriers have towed two of Anita Among’s Land Cruisers from her Nakasero home to an unknown destination. Reports also indicate that the Financial Intelligence Authority (FIA) has frozen access to her bank accounts as investigations into alleged corruption and abuse of office intensify. 📸 By Alfred Ochwo #VisionUpdates

An Open Appeal to Rolls‑Royce Motor Cars @rollsroycecars To the custodians of excellence, dignity, and timeless craftsmanship, I write not merely about a motor car, but about what your name represents across continents: honor, prestige, and the quiet confidence of integrity. Today, that symbolism is imperiled in Uganda. A brand-new Rolls-Royce, lawfully acquired and proudly owned by Anita Annet Among, has been confiscated amid a storm of politics, allegations, and public spectacle. Whatever the merits or demerits of the surrounding controversy, one truth remains clear: a Rolls-Royce is never just property. It is a statement of legacy; one that should not be dragged through the dust of political theater. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has always stood above the noise of the day. Your marque has survived wars, empires, and upheavals because it is anchored in values that transcend momentary passions. This is a moment to live those values. I appeal to you to intervene; not as a partisan actor, but as a guardian of your brand’s dignity. Engage the authorities. Seek clarity. Protect the sanctity of ownership and due process. Ensure that a symbol of refinement is not reduced to a pawn in political contestation. Africa watches. Uganda watches. And history, as it always does, will remember whether silence or principle prevailed. A Rolls-Royce should never be humiliated in a public square. Nor should the ideals it embodies. Come, rescue not just a motor car, but the values your Spirit of Ecstasy was meant to represent.

After consultations within the party, I have decided to withdraw my interest in contesting for the position of Deputy Speaker of the 12th Parliament of Uganda. My initial expression of interest came at a time when many leaders and members within the party believed that the position of Deputy Speaker could once again be occupied by a woman, especially considering Uganda’s history of balancing the leadership of Parliament. I was therefore humbled and encouraged by the support and confidence shown in me by many colleagues and well wishers. However, after further engagements and reflection, it became clear that one of the major challenges experienced in the 11th Parliament was the issue of institutional memory, where both the Speaker and Deputy Speaker assumed leadership while relatively new to their respective positions at the same time. As a result, many leaders emphasised the importance of continuity and experience within the leadership of Parliament moving into the 12th Parliament. I therefore fully support Rt. Hon. @Thomas_Tayebwa for the position of Deputy Speaker. Having worked closely with him, I have witnessed his dedication, capability, and commitment to serving both Parliament and the people of Uganda. He has done an incredible job in the office and deserves continued support. I am also aware of concerns that may a raise regarding the possibility of both the Speaker and Deputy Speaker being male at the same time. However, Uganda has previously had both positions occupied by men simultaneously, including during the leadership period of Rt. Hon. James Wapakhabulo and Rt. Hon. Francis Ayume. Therefore, at this particular moment, the focus should remain on competence, continuity, unity, and the strengthening of Parliament as an institution. I sincerely thank all those who supported my interest and remain committed to serving Uganda with dedication and patriotism. I also extend my appreciation to H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni @KagutaMuseveni and Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba @mkainerugaba and all other prominent leaders for their continued guidance and commitment to unity and stability within our movement and country. God bless Uganda.
