A good GTM engineer can COMPLETELY turn a company around in 90 days (or less) (FULL guide on hiring & sourcing) For context… the GTM engineer role has exploded over the last 12 months. Every B2B agency, SaaS company, and PE-backed roll-up is hiring for it. Yet, Almost NO ONE writing job posts for the role actually knows what to test for. Most job posts mention "Clay" and sprinkle in "Apollo" … and think it’ll do the job. Then they're confused when the hire can't: 1. reduce enrichment cost by chaining APIs together 2. diagnose copy fingerprinting vs infra decay in real time 3. communicate experiment ROI to a CMO without losing the room 4. rebuild a sequence when sender rep tanks at 2am 5. tell the difference between segmentation and Sales Nav filter-stacking B2b orgs keep treating the GTM engineer role like a junior marketer who learned Clay over the weekend. It's a marketer who can actually EXECUTE… or a technical person who learned why ICP fit matters. Both profiles have to develop a third skill on top. communication with stakeholders (CMOs, sales directors, founders). So…. I wrote up the complete GTM engineer field manual based on hiring + training DOZENS of them over the last 5 years. (completely free) What's inside this manual: 1) the 2 starting profiles (marketer turning into GTM eng vs technical turning into GTM eng) and the EXACT cross-training each profile needs to develop 2) the hard tool stack. Claude Code first, then RapidAPI, Clay (or alternative), Smartlead or Instantly for email, Heyreach or Infox or Sales Robot for LinkedIn, plus Blitz, Prospeo, LeadMagic, Findymail, Tri-Kit for enrichment 3) the cold email infra rubric. Google inbox provider, Azure provider if you use it, SMTP provider, secure email gateway awareness (Barracuda, Mimecast, Proofpoint) 4) the sales intelligence layer. Gong, Firefly, Fathom for transcript extraction, then objection mining, then pre-sales sequence injection 5) the interview rubric we use when hiring. 4 questions that filter marketers-cosplaying-as-technical from real practitioners in under 20 minutes 6) the compensation framing. why a great GTM engineer pays for themselves 10x and why a bad one is "drowning, gasping for breath" inside your funnel 7) the 6-step ramp plan for a new hire. start with 1-2 channels, perfect those, then expand into close rate / show-up rate / appointment-set rate 8) the 1 hiring signal that predicted top performance in ALL 3 of our successful trial hires last week (and that the 2 underperformers both missed completely) want it? • comment "GTME" • follow me so i can DM the link PS We hired 5 GTM engineers on trial last week… and this is the same manual we use internally to train every one of them who joins our team before we put them on a client account. PSS REPOST for priority access in case this blows up!

“How do I actually become a GTM Engineer?” I sat down to document the 5 steps (and skills) it takes. (bookmark this) 1. Use your background as a wedge. Every killer GTME I know started with either: • Sales acumen (SDR, AE, BDR) • Or technical skill (no-code, API, scraping) One or the other. Sometimes both. My advice: Don’t “become” something new. Leverage where you’ve ALREADY been. It becomes your competitive edge when building GTM systems. 2. Learn web scraping inside-out. GTM Engineers live and die by their ability to pull data from any site. Start with Instant Data Scraper. Then graduate to PhantomBuster, Apify, Outscraper, and others. Pro tip... use Unlock Clay GPT (comment “GPT” and I’ll send it to you!) to figure out which tool fits which use case. E.g., Google Maps = Outscraper. LinkedIn Sales Nav = Prospeo. The best GTMEs are situationally fluent in tool selection. 3. Build inside Clay (DO THE THING). Scraped data is useless if you don’t know how to action it. Practice with real tables. Try these enrichments: • Write to other table • Email waterfalls • Lookup multiple rows in other tables • Claygent • Formula • find people / find companies 4. Get 2–3 mini wins under your belt. At this point, you’re dangerous, but unproven. Find a few folks and offer to build Clay systems for the cost of tools + a testimonial. 5. Go outbound. Most GTME roles aren’t even posted. They’re created. Set up automations that alert you when a company mentions “Clay,” “GTM,” or “automation” in their job board. DM me if you want to see my tutorial for how to do this. Scrape agency directories, enrich them in Clay, then message founders directly. Again, DM me & I’ll share how. Someone WILL say yes. This role is new. Most companies don’t even know how to interview for it. That’s your opportunity.

the men's erectile dysfunction market is hitting $7B+ by 2028 and AI UGC creators are quietly printing from it how? 30M+ men in the US alone deal with hormonal issues. the fastest growing demographic isn't men over 60 but men between 25 and 40. and these guys will NEVER engage with a talking-head testimonial about it publicly. the social cost is too high. which is exactly why AI UGC dominates this category harder than almost any other niche cartoon testosterone molecules fighting estrogen villains? shareable. no shame attached. broad distribution. $8-15 CPMs. a real person holding a supplement bottle talking about their bedroom performance? dead on arrival. so i documented the ENTIRE system for creating AI UGC content in this space... covering EVERYTHING you need to start printing from this category: 1. why AI avatars and cartoon characters convert better than any other format for sensitive health topics 2. the ethical positioning framework: health restoration not performance enhancement (and why this framing converts 3x better) 3. the specific hook structures that name the experience without naming the condition (gets past both the algorithm AND the viewer's shame response) 4. the product categories that actually convert: testosterone support, adaptogens, sleep optimization, zinc/mag supplementation 5. the full production workflow: claude for scripts, seedance 2.0 for video, cross-platform distribution like + comment "HEALTH" and i'll send you the ENTIRE system (must be following + RT for priority access)

I just built a fully mapped AI Agent OS covering every layer a GTM engineer needs to run a connected agent stack from one project folder. Feed it your ICP, your GTM workflows, and your current tool stack → it maps every skill, agent, memory system, and protocol to the right layer → so you know exactly what to install, what each thing does, and how the layers connect. All inside one free reference document. Perfect for GTM engineers and RevOps leaders who are still installing tools without a system underneath, running agents with no memory between sessions, and rebuilding context from scratch every time they open a new session. If you're running GTM on AI agents in 2026, you already know the math - the engineers shipping the most aren't running more tools, they're running a connected OS where every layer feeds the next. Most engineers have skills without memory, memory without safety hooks, and agents without observability. Nothing compounds. This map solves it: → Five root config files built in 30 minutes - CLAUDE.md, BRAND.md, SOUL.md, MEMORY.md, and settings.json turn any terminal agent into a dedicated GTM operator → 235+ skills across 11 domains including 18 GTM skills, 21 Clay workflows, 8 n8n automations, 44 marketing skills, 34 C-suite advisory skills, and 2,000+ B2B sales prompts - every one with install command and source repo → 500+ sub-agents across 6 collections with three personas - Startup CTO, Growth Marketer, and Solo Founder - each pre-loaded with the right skill stack → Four memory systems mapped with a decision guide - Obsidian vault for long-running projects, claude-mem for zero-config capture, cipher for lightweight setups, supermemory for autonomous agents → Safety hooks wired before any agent touches real data - block-dangerous-commands, protect-secrets, auto-stage, and notify-permission registered in settings.json → Full ecosystem coverage - 6 terminal agents, 9 multi-agent frameworks, 5 GUI clients, 5 infrastructure tools, observability stack, and 3 open protocols that make all of it interoperable No installing skills with no system to route them. No running agents with no memory between sessions. No rebuilding context from scratch when CLAUDE.md and MEMORY.md should load it automatically. What you get: - 30-minute setup guide for all five root config files with exact build order - 235+ skills across 11 domains with tiered loadout - always-on, project-specific, and situational - 500+ sub-agent templates across 6 collections with orchestration patterns - Four memory systems with a decision guide for which to use when - Full ecosystem map across terminal agents, frameworks, GUI clients, and open protocols Built from 6 months of mapping every open-source GTM agent repo, skill library, and protocol that ships in 2026. Want it for free? > Like this post > Comment "OS" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

A two-person GTM team at a Series B SaaS company closed $2.4M in pipeline in one quarter. No SDRs. No demand gen agency. No paid ads. Signal-based outreach. Intent scoring. AI-sequenced follow-up. Automated reporting. Two GTM engineers running the whole motion - for one quarter. I pulled it apart. Compared it to every system we've built across the GTM teams we've worked with. Then asked myself one question: If I had to reverse engineer this from scratch - what would it actually look like? Turns out the architecture isn't that complicated. I mapped the whole thing into a step-by-step playbook you can upload directly to any LLM. It walks you through building your own version from GTM strategy to fully AI-powered execution. Comment "GTM" and I'll send it over.
