@AmandaBPerino i happily used dropbox for many years, only switching to icloud because i’d upgraded that plan and didn’t need both

@theANDYM If I had an iphone I think icloud would make the most sense to include photos. But alas....Android phone user over here.

@LeoDuffOff @ilyamiskov @yakinbozek @raycastapp took me a couple install/uninstall cycles before i really bought into it

Mac menubar apps I use all the time ⬇️
- - - - -
1) CleanShot – The best screenshot/screen recording app that exists out there
2) PixelSnap – Lets you measure anything on your screen. Helpful for quickly gathering distances between objects in pixels
3) Sip – A very powerful color picker, with history and collections of color palettes
4) Magnet – A tool for snapping your windows into organized tiles
5) PastePal – Super powerful clipboard manager that stores anything you copy/save in your clipboard including images. Also syncs to iPad and iPhone.
6) We Love Lights – An app for controlling Philips Hue lights and scenes
7) Simplify – An awesome little music player that lives in the menubar
8) iTranslate – Menubar language translator app
9) Vivid – Lets you unleash full 1000 nits of sustained brightness (Only on MacBook Pros released since October 2021)
10) Hand Mirror – Awesome little app for showing your webcam preview. Very useful for checking your looks prior to meetings
11) Bartender – Declutters your menubar by hiding the items/icons you don't want to see.

@nope_its_lily @luoxiaxia also seems that the incentive to scrape is lower because tweets are primarily short-form text, so easier to assume they can be parsed as such vs other forms of media. which makes it easier to store and/or derive value
English

@nope_its_lily @luoxiaxia would be interesting to know what these anomalous scraping patterns look like / if they differ from other instances of high-volume scraping. i’d guess volume of tweet creation is higher and more frequent, requiring additional burden vs “slower” forms of posting (FB, IG, YT, etc)

@ormanclark Closet is all black. Best choice I ever made was removing the need to make one.

@jessica_kirsh @TeslaAIBot @elonmusk "If I could drink all of my calories, proteins..."
You can get pretty close with Soylent.

The grocery store in addition to food preparation is one of the most anxiety inducing tasks for me, out of all things.
I will go without food just because of the anxiety of have about going to the store to get food.
Right now, I’m in that exact situation where my anxiety is so high, yet I’m so hungry — that I feel almost paralyzed.
So, my #1 task I’ll have my Optimus Bot do (first) will be go get groceries for me.
#2 will be to prepare and plate the food or blend it all up, so I can just drink it.
The faster the better. Eating is such a waste of time and energy.
If I could drink all of my calories, proteins, etc I need in a day, I would.

@ped ahh yeah, not sure if there’s any good solution for that. previously used gboard before ios got swipe, but not sure if it’s any better for emoji these days. suppose you could just adopt typing `:wink` and let your recipients figure it out
