I keep seeing this complaint and I don't get it unless you don't regularly use macOS. The entire app is contained. There's no installer (uninstalling should be either with cache files but whatever) But so many times when I just give users the .app they open it in their downloads folder. This is an easy way to install to the applications folder and tell the user "you are putting this here. This drag is authenticating it." Rather than a multi step wizard that might be sneaking and installing things it shouldn't

This is new (from Claude Code). I'm now hitting usage limits I didn't even know existed. Anyone seen this one before? I've seen 5-hour and weekly usage limits and rate limits, but never anything monthly. And I don't even have an org, it's just me!

I noticed I never post IRL stuff here, so here's the first one. I was at a coffee shop today. I found out a beautiful book about Git, it's "Pro Git" by Scott Chacon. You can get it for free as an ebook. I think I don't know much about worktrees, tags, etc. even though I use them all the time. So I'll figure it out! And I finally got a chance to use NotebookLM for this task.

Yesterday I posted about hitting my Claude limits and it took off a few hours later. I replied to every comment and noticed a pattern. A ton of people said: "Just use Codex bro, higher rate limits" Here's why I won't: • It's not as good • Sam Altman makes money if I buy it (immediate no from me) • Claude's UI/UX is just better • The browser extension lets Claude check my app when it's done working, that's nice. Not switching.
