Bishop Martin of Charlotte explaining that the communion rail has no place “in the liturgical life of the Novus Ordo” since the norm (in the US) is to receive Communion standing. Possibly His Excellency can cite the liturgical text or section of the GIRM stating such a ban? His Excellency also seems to be troubled by the actualization (in certain Charlotte parishes) of the mutual enrichment Pope Benedict often spoke of.

This week we're watching the TV miniseries "Jesus of Nazareth" starring Robert Powell. IMO this is the best depiction of Jesus to date. Streaming via Amazon Prime

@MrsCasey6 Dawn changed its scent a while back and I couldn’t stand it so I tried 7th Generation and it works surprisingly well.

Anytime I'm anywhere where the only dish soap is some expensive eco-friendly brand I'm reminded why I went back to Dawn and why I'll never use anything else.

but… most of the time down here we get an entire palm branch ..they are huge and you can’t make crosses out of them ..most Palm Sundays i do not even take palms..

Trash cans are out of control in this city… it looks like a Lego Godzilla threw up all over our city on trash days. The dumps have tech that sorts the trash... it’s like 30 year old tech. @metathomist According to Ven. Maria Agreda, St. Joseph was in limbo and when Jesus went there he emptied it and those souls went to heaven when He ascended to heaven, but Joseph, by special privilege, went with a resurrected body.

I believe St. Joseph was also assumed into heaven.

San Diegans are being corralled slowly but surely... conditioned for 15 Minute City behavior. Notice all of the "fun stuff" has irl "pay walls" now aka Meters? The road closures. The constant freeway closures. The never-ending construction. The Toll Booths firing up again. Flock cameras. $6/gal Gas It is all part of their plan and they are working faster than San Diegans are waking up to it...

@CatholicCat8 I was upset at a similar event at my former parish on a Friday outside of Lent. There weren’t any no meat options. I wonder how this is possible? It would be a sin to purposely eat it from what I understand.

Yesterday at at Mass i got very upset .. Our parish has their annual Seafood Festival Coming.. So on a weekend during Lent .. the Church is hosting a fundraising Carnival .. ON A FRIDAY .. during Lent.. and serving Hamburgers, pulled pork and other meaty foods 👇👇👇
