The city of #SanDiego is collecting record levels of revenue. If street and sidewalk maintenance is underfunded, it’s because the mayor and council have hired more administrative staff than necessary. Concerned citizens can also ask if it would be more cost-effective to contract out street repair rather than hiring more (pension eligible) city workers. Another solution would be to work with #SANDAG and the state of California to divert funds from poorly designed bike lanes to street repair.
