@JebraFaushay I was ten and remember our first microwave. We couldn't believe TV dinners could be finished in 5 minutes. We had one TV in the living room, and we would get out the TV trays and eat our dinners watching The Brady Bunch or The Jeffrerson's and All in the Family.

Get in the time machine, we're going back to the late 1900s.

@sweatystartup I don't have an HOA, and I can do much more than the neighborhood across the street, and I don't pay a fee every month. 🤷‍♀️

All the rich people I know love living in places with HOAs. No broken down boats. Rainbow yard signs. Grass 2 feet tall. Lack of weed control. Broken fridge on front porch. Broke people hate HOAs because they hate doing basic things to make their houses look nice.

@ClownWorld Loved the malls back then! Get dropped off and shopped to we dropped, and then ate and went to the movie. Did that nearly every weekend with my babysitting money and then later when I worked in fast food and retail.

Old footage from 40 years ago showing malls packed wall to wall with people. Just crowds, energy, no phones, no dead spaces. Now look at what we have. Empty food courts, shuttered stores. We really traded something good for convenience.

@bigbabolat @ClownWorld Depends on where you live. Our malls are very safe, but we aren't in the ghetto.
