Shopping, groceries, enjoying nature, cycling, walking, have a drink/coffee,... Modern world is more online thn outside thats the problem.

@Grummz Its an ego thing, these devs dont mind changing what they made, atleast trying out whats being suggested to see how itll play out. Most western devs think they are right thus never change a thing, unwiling to even try it out cuz its not their idea.

Most game dev teams aren't ready for this. But game updates need to be 10x faster pace than what they are used to. Crimson Desert has shown they can update nearly every week with tons of improvements/refinements. This is the new normal. And, "big secret" is it only possible with AI. Asian studios have no problem using AI. Western AAA Studios are religiously against it. Their Unions are against it. This is going to be a big problem for AAA.

The team there shared our goal of making the next great MMO — something we’re more committed to than ever — but combining efforts ultimately didn’t make sense for us.

Mamdani proposes a pied-à-terre tax, which would essentially double the property tax for those with a second home valued over $5M in the city. This is a false promise. It's a lie. Taxing the rich never works. The government has a spending problem, not a revenue problem. When they use “tax the rich” as an excuse to increase spending, and then the rich leave, they will not scale back spending. Instead, the burden shifts to the middle class, until everyone is equally poor and government corruption thrives. Somehow through all of this, the government officials all get rich. Mamdani is selling a lie. Don't be stupid enough to fall for it.

‼️🇪🇺 The EU's new Age Verification app was hacked with little to no effort. When you set it up, the app asks you to create a PIN. But that PIN isn't actually tied to the identity data it's supposed to protect. An attacker can delete a couple of entries from a file on the phone, restart the app, pick a new PIN, and the app happily hands over the original user's verified identity credentials as if nothing happened. It gets worse. The app's "too many attempts" lockout is just a counter in a text file. Reset it to 0 and keep guessing. The biometric check (face/fingerprint) is a simple on/off switch in the same file. Flip it to off and the app skips it entirely.

i hate to say it but a 1% tax on property over $5m you don’t live in is hard to argue against for the average voter like, the solution is simply “actually live in NYC”, “what are you so broke you can’t afford 1%?”, and “well you could just leave NYC” all are ego hits none of these property owners don’t wanna take and have a hard time refuting love or hate him, he’s actually doing something vs most mayors and tells you in the slickest way possible

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

If the bottom 50% of Americans only pay 2% of all taxes, why don’t we just ask the rich to pay 2% more so half of America can be completely tax free? To the rich, it might mean one less private jet or yacht. To the bottom 50%, it might mean not having to choose between rent, food, utilities, or healthcare.

@frizzdnuts @202accepted I agree that they spend FAR too much. The NYPD budget could probably be slashed by about 60% (starting with their Israeli training trips).

@202accepted The point you miss- will people pay or sell? If enough sell, you are screwed. I think plenty do sell. Know why I think this? Because every time you add a tax behaviors change.
