Initial Super Heavy V3 and Starbase Pad 2 activation campaign complete, wrapping up several days of testing that loaded cryogenic fuel and oxidizer on a V3 vehicle for the first time. While the 10-engine static fire ended early due to a ground-side issue, we saw successful startup on all installed Raptor 3 engines. Next up: preparing the booster for a 33-engine static fire

Starship for Earth-to-Earth? Like using a jet to cross the street. That kind of thrust belongs to Mars, not Manhattan. Maglev tunnels or hyperloops—cleaner, cheaper, no G-force hangover. We climb ladders of abstraction like it's base reality, but every rug's still nailed to gravity. We Humans: always building castles on clouds.

@DeepBlueCrypto @SpaceX I'm going with never or at least many decades on this. No one is going to be excited about riding a rocket into space and back again just to get from one city to another. It will be very uncomfortable with the high g takeoff and zero g space transition.

@DeepBlueCrypto @SpaceX Do you think passengers going from Sydney to NY are ready for a 4g acceleration to space? Most people have never experienced 4g's and if they have, for a very short time. Imagine all the passengers heaving as they accelerate towards space and the 0 gravity also causes nausea
