@bearsarestupid @OSINTWarfare The engines look like they're at the rear because of the angle and low quality footage. It's an A10. Mq9 doesn't produce that much heat, compare it with actual mq9 hits.

The IRGC has again claimed that they shot down a fighter jet. This time off the coast of Qeshm Island. However the video released does not appear to show the downing of the jet, as the deployment of flares can still easily be seen up until the end of the video.

For the record, The F-15E that (allegedly went down pending CENTCOM confirmation) was most likely a mechanical failure. The 48th Fighter Wing (Liberty Wing) at RAF Lakenheath, UK, has operated F-15E Strike Eagles since February 1992, making their primary airframes over 34 years old based on 1992 arrival dates. With 8,000 avg hr lifespan many are way beyond their designed lifespan. I don't care how meticulous the extended service life maintenance schedules are. A combat airframe that old is prone to failure.
