@BoxMidfield @damian_highbury Midfield trio is perfect. Similar to PSG but PSG are beasts because Hakimi + Mendes are always available. They overload the midfield and out wide when wingers invert inside. White + Cala + Ø unavailability is damning. Zubi is mentally + physically gassed out. I'm not mad at him.

Also we have 3 excellent midfielders who complement each other perfectly and synchronously in all phases, but Zubimendi and Rice have become fatigued due to the lack of alternatives, and the captain has been very unlucky with injuries again this season.

I think our main problem in attack is that our FBs move too one-dimensionally and often keep the wingers pinned to the touchline. I want to see more freedom in the final 3rd from Arteta. Two-way FBs and wingers could be key.

@codedbruhh Actually, Timber is quite effective both inside and outside. The reason he almost always plays inside is because of manager instruction.

@BoxMidfield As much as I rate how Hincapie has stepped in and looked solid, a fit Calafiori will give us this different dimension.

That’s inferior to having an 8 there unless the FB is elite in the role (e.g. Cala, and he’s been injured). The other issue is our FBs often occupy those lanes statically to pin defenders for a winger 1v1, rather than arriving dynamically into space as a genuine attacking threat.

@damian_highbury Actually, he's very efficient in the pockets, he just needs to be encouraged to take a bit more risk in the final 3rd. Also, Zubimendi and Rice have undoubtedly lost the balanced synergy they had at the start of the season.

@BoxMidfield Zubimendi quite risk averse but I think it has become emboldened under Arteta's instructions. I also think he should be pinned at DM and not allowed to roam as much. It has been happening to an increasing level through the season and we reached a point Rice is playing DM.

To the people that think Arsenal don’t miss Ødegaard: He’s started only 13 PL games yet no Arsenal player has more PL assists than him this season

@yourmissingone He probably thinks that winning corners with wingers on the touchline is more efficient.

Every week there’s a new plan to replace Ødegaard, first it was Zubi for buildup, then y’all moved to Eze for creativity and Saka as an 8/10. None of it worked out, yet you lots can’t just admit his role isn’t easy to replicate.

@cuoium I'm not as active as I used to be, but I noticed some opposition accounts are now presenting things I said months ago as their own opinions, so here I am.
