The crazy part about not picking up Myles Muprhy's 5th Year Option is that the Bengals have only declined that 3 times in their past.

7 years ago I was part of a crew changing a bearing on a hydro turbine. I lost my footing on the shotty staging and started to slide down. Smacked my hard hat off the casing but was able to grab an impeller blade on the way down and catch myself. Was able to get back to the top, crew had their jaws on the floor. Buddy gave me a “you good?” I said “yup” and we got back to keeping on. I think about this often.

Q: How have you seen Hyeseong Kim and Alex Freeland adjust to their roles over the last couple weeks that’s allowed them both to find success?
DAVE ROBERTS: Obviously, you lose Mookie, big loss. Bringing Hyeseong here and feeling that that sort of platoon could work—for me, it’s also layering on the fact that I don’t want to overexpose Miguel Rojas, as far as his age and playing every day... For Hyeseong to really be able to handle short, it’s allowed for more opportunity for both guys. And so I think it’s been a good balance in playing time and not trying to overexpose either of those two guys.
