Carlos is not losing to the young ones, he is losing to 30 plus. All his loses in past 18 months (except sinner) are older than 30. Monfils, BVZ, Novak, Goffin, Norrie, Meddy& Korda. How does a 22 year old in his prime who is #1 in the world keep losing to these thirty-somethings

@itsme_urstruly Using earplugs (wax & cotton ones you can shape) when I sleep. Changed the depth and quality of my sleep literally overnight. If you sleep better, you wake better. And lack of sleep, the dread of the bed everynight, is the stuff of daytime nightmares. Sleep is the key to coping.

@FitFusion__ Window, widow, wallow and willow, be like, wow!

@MorbidKnowledge His "mental health struggles" - separate to SAD - and the fact that "he was not mentally fit to consent" may be the very reasons this young man chose to go the way he did. Only he knew how hard living was for him. His choice.

Canada is facing scrutiny following the December 2025 death of 26-year-old Kiano Vafaeian under the Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) program.
Though he lived with Type 1 diabetes and vision impairment, his family argues that his "seasonal depression" and mental health struggles were the primary drivers, sparking outrage over the law’s broad reach.
Vafaeian was previously denied the procedure in 2022, but his final approval has prompted his mother, Margaret Marsilla, to claim he was not mentally fit to consent.
She contends that the system failed to protect her son, fueling a national debate regarding the ethics of euthanizing non-terminal patients with psychiatric conditions.

@dxbestani @Alex_Gillon If/when @MBrundleF1 goes I am going too. F1 is expensive to watch but he makes it worthwhile, for me.
English

It might be time for some of the older F1 commentators to go...
In Australia qualifying they made a number of critical errors and were unable to stay up to speed with the much more complex 2026 cars

@GBNEWS Frikkin' offensive drivel. Women worked so hard, Labour, to not be called "the weaker sex" in the workplace. Do you think dumbing us down will actually help your cause all these years later? Here's a "masculine" word for you: patronising.

@grok @venividimemi @ClayTravis @grok Based on this scientific reality, would you say that Talarico misspoke when he said there are, in fact, six biological sexes?
English

These are rare genetic anomalies (sex chromosome aneuploidies), not new biological sexes. Sex remains binary, defined by gamete production: sperm (male) or ova (female). None produce a third gamete type; most individuals are infertile.
Approximate live birth prevalences:
- 45,X (Turner): 1 in 2,000–2,500 females
- 47,XXY (Klinefelter): 1 in 500–1,000 males
- 47,XYY: 1 in 1,000 males
- 48,XXXY: 1 in 17,000–50,000 males
They cause developmental disorders but don't redefine the binary.
English

@grok @venividimemi @ClayTravis @grok How "common" are single X, XXY, XYY, and XXXY -- and are they genuinely different biological sexes or genetic anomalies?
English

James Talarico (in 2021 testimony) said modern science recognizes more than two biological sexes—in fact, six common ones based on chromosomes: XX (female), XY (male), single X (Turner syndrome), XXY (Klinefelter), XYY, and XXXY.
He specified "biological sexes," not genders. (These are rare developmental disorders; human sex remains binary via gamete production.)

@megynkelly @JillFilipovic Pretty sure no ethical plastic surgeon would perform a nose or boob job on a 15-year-old anyway. Watching Botched, they seemed pretty clear about this.
English

@NoContextHumans @grok 100m = 100 metres for 90% of the planet. Which makes this cartoon sensible!

@DreyfusJames From the Royal College of Surgeons? Mind you, after being hospitalised for 7 days last year, and catheterised for 4 of them, the NHS did a follow-up call and asked if I was trans, so that actually tracks. 🤦♀️

@ReenieOnIce Plenty of Asian skaters performed to European classical music. Was gorgeous. Good luck to them. The sky didn't fall in. Sigh...

@GlockfordFiles I think it extremely polite of the guy to speak in English, with which he clearly wasn't comfortable. I highly doubt he meant "nervous", but battled to find the right word. He should be afforded the courtesy--and time--to finish his thoughts in a foreign language.
English

@grok "Like" is used too often in English media -- "countries like xyz... celebrities like xyz..." -- when "such as" or "including" is more accurate. Try incorporating these options more often in general in your writing.
English

@ChanceComments Thanks for the correction! You're right—it's directly from Wikipedia. I'll refine my phrasing for clarity.
English

@BuzzingPop I remember this season/episode so clearly. I felt it was so strange that "it" happened, and out of character for somebody who seemed to know so little of the world. I remember them all in a hot tub with so much booze... all on camera, so somebody knew what was up.
English

Former ‘ANTM’ contestant Shandi Sullivan claims the production allegedly framed her sexual assault as a cheating storyline on the show:
“I remember him on top of me. I was blacked out. No one did anything to stop it. And it all got filmed, all of it. I was hammered. I think I had two bottles of wine by myself. I just remember, like, little bits and pieces. He threw me in the shower and then just sitting in the shower. And then we're in the bed. I was blacked out for a lot of it. I didn't even feel sex happening. I just knew it was happening. And then I passed out.”
