Question for #CFL fans who hate the new postseason format. If it results in a better TV/media rights deal and more revenue for the league - such that more teams are profitable and they can raise or eliminate the football ops cap - would you be happy with that tradeoff?

Here is my vision for the #CFL by 2032. 3 expansion teams: Halifax, Quebec, Windsor. 3 divisions: West, Central, East. All with 4 teams each. Playoffs: 8 teams: top 2 seeds from each division, 2 final wild card. Teams ranked 1-8 with division winners locked into the top 6 seeds (and sorted by record). Potential future expansion beyond this (thinking by 2040: Moncton, Victoria, Saskatoon, Kelowna, St. John’s, St. Catherines-Niagara). It’s ambitious. Let’s start with the 3 identified on the map. And let’s get StewJo working on securing ownership and stadiums in these 3 cities. @LWillson_82 @PeterDyakowski @TheJCAbbott @FarhanLaljiTSN @nielsonTSN1260 @The_Real_Moj Thoughts on this? 8 out of 9 teams in the Canadian Football League playoffs takes away from what makes those games special. Playoff football is supposed to be earned. If anything, grow the league by adding more teams…. not the number of automatic spots. 🤷🏽‍♂️

@Tosh_Mizzau Apparently he can play C as well.. So that's good.. Given Kolankowski... Given the average retirement age for his position is about how old he is now.. And he's a great Vet to learn the ropes from.

@Corey_A_Proctor Possibly, I was pretty content with Kowlankowski being the replacement for this year. Makes me think they don't feel confident at all about NDD or Hosseini being the long term replacement though.

Thoughts on new #CFL playoff format: Diehard fans the big winners. More football! Timing and rollout were poor. Why announce on draft day? The future. New tv deal, expansion, hopefully coming soon. Both will be huge for our league. Overall it’s positive.

The greycup rematch Canada day weekend as well Hear me out... Week 1 would be cool... But Canada day weekend gives both teams 4-5 games to get themselves firing on all cylinders
