We were saddened to learn of the passing of the great James Tolkan, known best to us at ILM as Principal Gerald Strickland and U.S. Marshal James Strickland in the Back to the Future trilogy. Our thoughts are with his wife Parmelee Welles, and all who knew him across his memorable life and career.

I found my parents embarrassing at a kid. I hoped that as a fairly successful musician with albums out, being on the radio and travelling the world to pay for our nice lifestyle my own daughter would think I was cool. She thinks I'm utterly cringe worthy. Can't win.
