They blessed ICE racial profiling without citing a single legal justification. They allowed Trump to ignore $4 billion in congressionally appropriated foreign aid. They stripped lower courts of the ability to issue universal relief, meaning only those with resources to file individual lawsuits get protection from illegal presidential action. Constitutional law professor Evan Bernick put it plainly: "The court is adjusting the law to make place for arbitrary power." Jackson's dissent is not hyperbole. A footnote citing a 1941 manuscript about Nazi legal architecture is a Supreme Court justice blowing the cover on what her colleagues are building.

I use to live there. Stay in White Bear Lake or Stillwater. Maybe even Hudson. Don’t go downtown without security any time of day. Make sure you don’t need gas and bring food with you. The white libs there are frigging nut cases. If you think the streets are bad you should see the schools. If you have any questions please reach out to me. I know the history going back 10 years on the politics abd the players. The law enforcement there is run by Ellison and his son. You really shouldn’t be there. But if you go make sure it’s in a pack. They attack in packs.

Based on my recent reporting trip to Minneapolis (and we were told as much by the locals), it is unsafe for people who are white and not known to key people in the area to be in certain neighborhoods or stores. If you are not accompanied by a known local, you may be profiled, followed/tracked, approached and questioned by people who will demand answers but not tell you who they are, told you "don't belong," told to leave, and/or made to feel threatened. I'm talking about peacefully going to public places in an open society. I was surprised, too.

Council had to intervene to rescue the BCR team put in jeopardy through contract mismanagement. Council had to do extensive oversight of contracting and procurement processes leadership permitted prior staff to issue contracts with clear conflicts of interest.

@NortonMpls Minneapolis needs to hit rock bottom (it is close and dropping quickly) No police force for 1 week. Only way some citizens in that city to recognize its importance.

Mayor Frey tries to blame Minneapolis City Council Members who said they wanted to defund the police 6 YEARS AGO for his nominees not being approved, even though none of those members are still on the council. This is just Frey looking for a straw man to blame for his failures.
