There's two types of people

I definitely wish I was able to build my RWBY fangame on an engine that was more accessible for everyone. I want to offer ways to play outside of just a windows exe. I kinda wish I built this on something like OpnBOR, which can be played on many devices, and retro consoles.

@epyoncf Difficulty is such a pain since it's so vital for the overall player experience and immersion, but unless you cater to a specific playerbase, skill and patience vary wildly from person to person.

Game development is hard. Some days everything falls apart and you're barely holding on. Other days, though, you receive fan-mail and its all worth it in the end!

@gbs_central I'm still on 4.1, but based on my understanding of the new 8x8 mode, it has a lot of advantages, but if you want a game that focuses more on larger actors like 32x32 or 48x48 such as my own project, your still better off with 8x16 mode. As the max stays at 40 for both.

Working on a boss fight for "Debriz" made with GBStudio. Sprite limits are a challenge when trying to simulate a 3D environment on a Gameboy screen. Though I'm happy with it so far!

@cookie_sugar42 @Mjustine132_ If you go back far enough you could. A few years ago, Blender had a built-in game engine that you can code with Python.

@Mjustine132_ why make a game in UE5 when you can make it in Blender!!!
