I'm not expecting gay marriage to suddenly start being allowed, but at the very least, I would hope we recognize that gay people have no choice in their attractions, can't change them, still may wish for companionship, and should be treated with dignity as God's creation.

@Elefjohnson @GringoPapist That is the Catholic belief. You need faith and to perform the sacraments ands to works for salvation. Protestants believe faith alone is necessary, but faith without outward works is dead, not true faith.

The Reformation was a sad result of a middle age buildup of Rome declaring itself to be the primary seat, and could never be wrong. Until then, differences could be openly discussed. Heresies excepted.
