I’ve been seeing a lot of slop games made with Claude Fable 5, so I wanted to build something I’d actually enjoy playing. What better way to celebrate all the new robotics companies shipping this year than a first-person robot simulator where you clean and organize a house? This was mostly vibe prompted into a small robotics sandbox, but it gave me a whole new appreciation for how difficult robotics actually is. Even in a game, controlling two independent arms in 3D space, lining up grasps, avoiding collisions, and making sure your own body doesn’t knock things over is surprisingly challenging 😆, It looks simple until you play. Definitely one of the most fun projects I’ve made so far, and I want to keep expanding it. Still on the slop indie stage but the majority people watching this video will quickly forget how creating anything like this was genuinely impossible year ago and I implore you to try to one shot something like this with the models available a year ago.

@naps000 @zenkozolana veteran game dev here. queues are marketing gimmicks. Spinning up new game servers is trivial in the age of cloud computing. These servers are $40 / month MAX unless they are extremely inefficient. Thought you should know :)

highest skilled players via PVP events which are live and running in the game now (you can already earn SEAR that way). plan to expand upon that with the addition of the arena which will allow for 1v1 and clan v clan battles. the game treasury will pay out winnings. if pvp isn't your thing, there's many other ways to earn sear including gaming the marketplace, farming resources efficiently (which is a game in itself), questing, and other more complicated approaches like flipping in-game real estate. that last one is the only one not currently in the game! in summary though there's tons of mechanics that will take some time to balance and properly gamify. An inefficient early economy is part of the design (rewards early adopters).

Everyone can earn $SEAR, but we intentionally direct the lion's share of emissions toward skill-based activities.
