This decision seemed inevitable from what has been in the press, but to pull the trigger after taking declarations for Friday's meet at 10am is a real slap in the face for Owners/Trainers & Jocs some of these races have been targeted for months. Tone deaf from @BHAHorseracing

The quoted piece showed the FlatStats ratings for The Lincoln two days ago. After two more days worth of stats were added, and the non runner was processed, the ratings changed slightly as shown in this image. Note the top 4 finishers were rated: 3rd, 4th, 12th, 1st Let me make this perfectly clear: FlatStats ratings adapt to the current race conditions. If there is a going change, a jockey change, non runner our ratings will change. Other resources do not do this. They are static. If a horse was rated 95 after it's last run, it's rated 95 today. If that run was on good to firm ground and today is good to soft it is still rated 95. If the going changes to soft, or a different jockey is on board it is still rated 95. The same goes for all those ratings out there that are based on times, class, rune stones. But not with FlatStats! Our ratings are based on what the race conditions are like today. So. Are you going to carry on what you have always done using ratings that are not adaptive? Or are you going to now try FlatStats ratings?

On the window are profiles of prominent women of past and present, and quite rightly so. But look closely and you will see: Barbara Castle Michelle Obama Oprah Winfrey Greta Thunberg and the one with the biggest picture is RACHEL REEVES. There is no Margaret Thatcher, no Queen past or present. Why are they excluded? This is what lefty / liberal North Somerset Council is like now. Oh, and the events where "all were welcome" were two weeks ago. The Exclude the Right of Centre Women Shrine is still there today!
