In my opinion, the Pope is an elected official. There is no mention of a Pope anywhere in the Bible. He is essentially the elected leader of the Catholic church, and that's fine. But don't assign him spiritual importance he does not possess beyond that. What do you think?

The Word of Yehovah יהוה Elohim is the Torah- "In the Beginning" is Bereshith in Hebrew. It's the real name of the first book of the Torah. It's translated as "Genesis", but it's really "In the Beginning" - the first book of the Torah. That's what John is saying when he wrote: John 1:1-5,14 "In the beginning" was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. [2] He was "in the beginning" with Elohim. [3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. [4] In Him was LIFE, and the LIFE was the light of men. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people. "When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, 'Surely he was the Son of God!'" - Matthew 27:45-54
