So @UberEats is basically saying that because they have refunded me in the past on other orders, they won't refund me for this order. I can't help that items arrive either damaged or missing! Should this be allowed? @CTSI_UK @ubereats_uk @Uber_Support @Uber

@Simon_Ingari If they want to abuse your privacy with a question they know not to ask in that way … what else will they fudge around your rights?

@TheABB @IWFhotline @ICOnews @educationgovuk @defenddigitalme Oh, I agree. But that is part of the issue. Monitoring and other safeguarding tools are only a tiny part of the equation. Focussing on those misses out on why we struggle to provide walled gardens to help children learn, build understanding and appropriate digital skills.

Some misunderstand and think schools cannot share risk with vendors (I.e. presume the vendor will do everything and they don’t have to worry) when that should not and cannot be a default position. Schools have have and understand the tools to handle this.

it is absolutely ridiculous that every bookshop in central london is still obliged to carry out "bear drills", in case the bears escape from london zoo. firstly there is no evidence they would particularly target bookshops. secondly the zoo hasn't had any bears since 2008.

🗓️ Ten years ago, on the 22nd April 2014, @SelwynE13 became the first primary school in @NewhamLondon to employ their own member of staff responsible for IT. Enter Abid Patel. I'd come in with 10 years experience, having worked in a local secondary school, but this was new. For the first time in my life, I was in charge. I had no one to fall back on. No escalation route if I was unsure. The buck ended with me. It was scary, very scary. I didn't have a clue what IT management entailed, but I looked at the mammoth task in front of me and did what I do best. Rolled up my sleeves and got to work. As the school never had a full time IT person previously, I asked if there was an office for me to use as a base. The previous contractors would just sit in the staff room on their one day a week shift. After not so much thinking, the Deputy Head at the time took me to the then gloomiest part of the school and introduced me to the cupboard. Nice storage area, I thought, but where's the office? Then it hit me, this was the office. And so the journey of #DigitalTransformation and #ChangeManagement began. This became headquarters. Cupboard HQ! Some highlights from Cupboard HQ: 💪 Single handed RM CC4 decommission (at 3 schools!) ☁️ Going #CloudFirst with Google Apps for Education (Remember that?!) introduction and implementation 💧 Disaster recovery following a flood! (Without a disaster recovery plan!) 🤯 3 Outstanding Ofsteds! 💡 Google Certified Innovator - The best professional development experience ever! 🥰 Global GEG - Supporting educators worldwide through a global pandemic 👍 The formation of 2 Multi Academy Trusts And the rest is history! (I could go on, but, character limits!) So here we are. 22nd April 2024. Ten years on. What a journey! The things I've learned. The people I've met. The places I've been. It's been a learning curve for sure. It's been a bumpy road, of course, it was never gonna be smooth! But looking back, I am where I am today, because of it. And to be honest, I wouldn't change any of it, because everything is what leads to the champion I am today! ❤️ A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me in those 10 years!
