anyway the @GIPHY team updated the code and added a property for devs like me who are using SwiftUI and it worked like a charm! s/o to the devs at giphy - the work is much appreciated!

i could legit cry right now, @_Kavsoft had this great implementation of @GIPHY for SwiftUI but on user search there was a UI glitch where historical search words overlapped with the search bar.
