1/ The current cloud model is extremely concentrated. A few large providers control the infrastructure layer, and most applications rent access from them forever. From a finance perspective, that means high operating costs, dependency risk, and very little bargaining power for builders once they scale. UPDATE: Cracker Barrel, CEO Julie Masino broke her silence and said, “We missed the mark… We’re sorry… This is America’s story.” I guess the "overwhelmingly positive feedback" you mentioned was a lie. Maybe next time @CrackerBarrel should use Sentiment and save the $545M 💡

BREAKING: Cracker Barrel reverts to traditional cooking methods after losing $545 million in logo fiasco. But the CEO said they had sooo much positive data from their customers & employees that supported the change. It clearly shows @CrackerBarrel didn’t care about their customer’s or employee’s opinions prior to losing a bunch of money. Even though the CEO lied on national television, they clearly only cared what the board members thought. It really makes you think… how’s that expensive license of Qualtrics working out for you!? 🤣

🚨 Cracker Barrel has officially CANCELED their "renovation" changes they were trying to introduce. “Today, we’re suspending our remodels. If your restaurant hasn’t been remodeled, you don’t need to worry, it won’t be. With our recent announcement that our ‘Old Timer’ logo will remain, along with our bigger focus in the kitchen and on your plate, we hope that today’s step reinforces that we hear you.” -Cracker Barrel But didn't the President & CEO of Cracker Barrel, Julie Felss Masino say this... "Honestly, the feedback's been overwhelmingly positive that people like what we're doing." and this... "...the feedback and the buzz is so good, not only from our customers, but from our team members." and this... "We're doing everything for our guests & team members." And corporations & institutions wonder why no one trust their centralized viewpoints anymore. This is prime example of what's wrong with today's data collection solutions.
