I hate it when cricket team coaches start getting more limelight than the players. Cricket is not football. Cricket should be centred around players and not coaches. Talk should be around the likes of Stokes, Bumrah, Santner, Jansen etc and not coaches. When the coaches hog more media attention, it means they are either not doing well and/or they are running a PR campaign or they are trying to assert more control than they should. In cricket your coach should be more of a back room person guiding the show and not the hero playing the lead. Good coaches always let the players take the centre stage. There was a time when India coach Greg Chappell had more TV time than the prime minister of India. Indian cricket wasn’t in good health then. I hope you can relate to what I’m saying.

@ZulfqarManj I think he took more wickets… 7 in total. Also 70 runs in final 40 plus against NZ and a cameo of 30 plus in rain cyrtailed game against SA. Didnt bat againt NZ in group stage. Didnt play WI game. So overall did well.
