#Illini AJ Redd is working for Illinois mega donor Larry Gies' company after graduation: Madison Industries and will be in the medical division AJ and Larry hit it off in the weight room. "He's been around our program a lot the past few years. I met him in the weight room before practice one day. Him and strength coach Adam Fletcher are pretty tight. He paired me up with Larry to lift, and I became pretty cool with him." Redd graduates, and his story is really cool. He started at Illinois as a student manager, and eventually became a walk-on basketball player. He would wake up at 4:00 AM and help Terrence Shannon Jr. at practice, and had to guard Kasparas Jakucionis often.
