@ThourCS2 The update is not bad. It's rather good. The issue is the game has severe problems currently. They get mad when they get updates like this becuase it's not really addressing the urgent issues.

Today’s CS2 update has become the most downvoted update in Counter-Strike 2 history on Steam. 2,735 upvotes and 5,309 downvotes resulting in just a 34% approval rating. 🫣

When CS2 was released, I didn’t see anything that actually improved the game maybe the smoke grenades are pretty cool. They promised it would be like CSGO and that nothing would change, but it doesn’t feel that way. It seems like everything is just getting worse. It’s been almost three years and there’s still no proper anti-cheat people are cheating in Premier, and bots are farming cases in Deathmatch. I’m completely disappointed with this game, Counter-Strike 1.6 I started playing in 2011 and put in around 10,000 hours. Then I started playing CSGO in 2018 and played about 15,000 hours. Since Counter-Strike 2 came out, I’ve basically stopped playing it feels like a completely different game. I don’t even watch esports anymore because it’s just not interesting to watch a game like this. Thanks.

Good job @CounterStrike @valvesoftware People now have SLIDE PEEK! Valve manage to break the game again, People peek very fast now, they even slide, some jumps look weird. I died again 7 meters behind the wall (I was 16 ping, enemy 21 ping) I saw people intertwine their legs when turning around It felt good after update, but now after many small updates it's same bs like before. It's literally story repeating itself and it looks like CS2 will never be fixed.

Shooting feels little bit better and sound is faster, and that's it. Peeking is still too fast and ping dependent. CSGO legs change direction when you counter strafe, CS2 animations has nothing like that. Stop tripping that they did something with animations, when people still slide depending how big the ping difference is. I expected a big update with AnimGraph2, but hey, I guess we need to wait 3 more years.

Just uninstalled Gigabyte Control Center and Razer Synapse for the first time since I got my new PC in June. I feel like I’m using 600 Hz for the first time. No, It didn't improved my FPS or 1% lows, but I can actually FEEL the difference in the gunfights.

2026's First CS2 Update is Live - 10.8 MB Size No release notes yet, most likely a bug was fixed.
