Knew about @MonkeDAO for a while, but Malaysia made it real for me. Seeing how many incredible people are part of it - Superteam leads, founders, builders, and just high-quality people - made me realize this is exactly the kind of community I want to be part of Today I officially joined MonkeDAO.

Everyone shares "top 50 AI tools" lists. I run a real startup. Here are the only 8 I use in my daily workflow: (Save this. You'll need it sooner than you think.) --- AI for writing and thinking: Tool 1: @claudeai Cowork This is my brain's second screen. ↳ I use it for deep analysis, content structure, and strategic planning. Connect it to your browser, Notion, or spreadsheets - it reads your actual workspace. It can also write posts. It has more taste than most copywriters. ↳ One catch: if you're on the basic $20 subscription, you'll hit credit limits constantly. Worth knowing before you commit. Tool 2: @ChatGPTapp (Go or Plus) ↳ I use this for drafting raw text. Fast, reliable, good enough for first drafts. Not my go-to for final output. But for speed? Still hard to beat. Tool 3: @typefully ↳ Draft and schedule tweets, threads, and long posts - all in one place. The built-in AI features are surprisingly solid for rephrasing and formatting. If you're posting on X consistently, this is the tool that keeps you sane. Tool 4: @grok My search weapon. ↳ Grok is better than ChatGPT for search. Period. It can even search tweets - try finding a specific post someone made 3 months ago. Grok does it. If you need real-time context on anything crypto, start here. --- Image generation: Tool 5: @GeminiApp (Nano Banana) ↳ This one surprised me. You can generate pretty much anything you want - and then some. If you're curious how to use this tool properly, drop a comment. I'll break it down. Tool 6: Grok (again) ↳ Not just for search. Grok makes your visuals move. Create 6-second or 10-second videos from your images. There's an upscale option, too. For quick content that needs motion - this is it. --- Video editing: Tool 7: @InShot_App ↳ Super simple mobile app. $6 subscription (or use it free). Auto-captions, clean fonts, and a built-in AI that cuts all the "eehh" and "ahhh" from your recordings. I use it for every video. Tool 8: iPhone Clean Up ↳ If you have an iPhone, the "Clean Up" feature in Photos is quietly one of the best tools out there. Delete people from backgrounds. Remove random objects. Fix messy shots. Takes 2 seconds. No extra app needed. --- Now here's the part most people skip. And it changes everything: In every AI tool you use turn on the "Thinking" model. - Text? Use thinking. - Images? Use thinking. - Search? Use thinking. Most people use the default mode and wonder why the output feels flat. The thinking model gives AI space to reason before it answers. The difference is night and day. This one setting will make every tool on this list 10x more useful. Don't skip it. That's my stack right now. Not 50 tools. Eight. I test new apps constantly. Most don't survive a week. These did. If this saved you time - repost it. Someone in your network needs this today. --- Image of this post generated with @GeminiApp

Selling a few of my Pokemon grails on eBay. I’ve seen so many Pokemon cycles and this feels like the top. Note: every sale I’ve made so far has been a horrible mistake.

Exceptional pre-seed founders wanted. Low wages. Consistent doubt. Hazardous journey. Ferocious competition. Long months wandering pre-PMF. Honor and recognition in case of success. Camaraderie regardless.

Most Web3 founders lose their raise before they ever open their mouth. Not because their product is bad. Because they walked into the room like tourists instead of closers. I've seen this play out across 50,000+ attendees. Here's exactly what separates the ones who close from the ones who go home empty handed: 🧵👇

I have definitely played around with Claude Code but really had nothing that I felt a burning desire to build. This weekend, I am churning. I've got two projects I'm running day and night here: 1. Workflow for the fund that is going to be game-changing for me 2. A tool for marketplaces, which I think will also be super valuable to people without a data team Excited to ship. 🚢

Big Day! I am excited to share that @yonderventures Fund I closed at $4.64M. 🎉 The fund is highly liquid, as they say in marketplaces! I am grateful to @RyanHibbison at @VCJournal for covering the launch and my founding story. I am building a firm, not just a fund, that will become the go-to for founders starting early-stage marketplaces and network-effect businesses. It is a big vision, and I believe Yonder can become the first name founders think of when they start a marketplace. Building the brand is essential, but, as in any marketplace, creating a strong network effect is critical to its success, and that means having great LPs alongside me. Thank you to the 91 world-class LPs from Airbnb, Uber, DoorDash, Amazon, eBay, Grubhub/Seamless, Thumbtack, StubHub, StockX, Whatnot, Mercari, OLX, OpenTable, Zillow, Trulia, ApartmentList, ACV Auctions, Reverb, Facebook Marketplace, Snapchat, Stripe, Pinterest, RetailMeNot, Turo, Outdoorsy, Peerspace, Avail, Rematter, and many more. The LP network is the fund's secret weapon and one of its greatest strengths. I am actively writing checks and have backed 22 companies across AI agents, robots, derivatives, construction, childcare, fuel, gold, legal, healthcare, and more. The weirder and newer the market, the better! If you are building the next big marketplace or network effect business, I want to meet you! I'm writing $50-100K checks at first-check/pre-seed. Email me at colin@yonder.vc. I literally have the best job in the world. Now back to investing and working with exceptional marketplace founders! One last favor to ask: please like, comment, and share to help me find those up-and-coming founders! 🙏 Link to the VCJ post and my post below. 👇
