Interesting paper that finds a long-run negative impact of the 1906 San Fran fire on the people who lived there. Interesting because others have shown San Fran actually grew after the fire (a "clean slate" to build). Yet the people were harmed. @hanna_schwank

Also contrasts with others who find disasters (like Katrina) has no long run negative impact on income. Great use of historical data.
