Why do they this? I like this guy. I thought he would be a worthy heir to Ron DeSantis, the greatest governor in the country.
Then he says this. Three words. “Pathway to citizenship.”
And I’m out. Screw him. Immigration isn’t “complicated.” It’s simple. Close the border. Deport illegals. That’s all conservatives want to hear.

@Milajoy Good Lord, of course there should be a pathway to citizenship. Go in front of a judge, pay a fine, complete probationary period, become an American.
Republicans have been screwing this up for decades, crying, "it's amnesty!" It is not.
Not all illegal aliens would be eligible.
