@RobertJenrick I bet less people died as a direct consequence of his actions and words than have at Trump’s behest. Hitler made German’s think that what they were doing was right, just and moral. Many more people were tortured and murdered by Assad’s regime. Where was this energy then?

Many young men serving in the British Army, including those from my part of the country in Nottinghamshire, were killed year after year by bombs made by Iranian forces at the behest of Ayatollah Khamenei. Tonight my thoughts will be with them. Nobody should mourn this evil man. He masterminded terrorism around the world and the murder of tens of thousands of his own people. Many people in positions of power in our country were prepared to negotiate with him. The foreign policy establishment advised against imposing stricter sanctions, or proscribing the IRGC. They naively thought he would stop pursuing nuclear weapons, killing our people and orchestrating terrorism. They were proved wrong time and again. Their weakness allowed his regime to gain a foothold in our country - something we must now stamp out. Good riddance to him.

Back to when Janet and John were the go-to books in primary schools. (not Muhammed and Aisha) Back to when parents could let their kids play out without worrying themselves sick. Back to when children were boys and girls and nothing else. Back to when our children went on day trips to museums, not Mosques. Back to when school assembly included the Lord's Prayer and Christian moral values were the norm. Back to when there was guilt shaming for being white or British. Back to when rioting and looting in support of George Floyd, a violent, drug-crazed criminal would never have been tolerated. Back to when marching in support of terrorists would never have been tolerated. Back to when our women and children were safe. Back to when we had freedom of speech and could air grievances without fear. Back to when politicians could answer a question without needing a high court ruling. Back to when the UK's Prime Minister would never have taken the knee to a racist organisation, BLM. Back to when our police had a moral compass and protected all, not vile ideologues and racist rapists. Back to when Christmas was celebrated the way it should be, Christmas trees, not Evergreen. Back to when we had never heard of Ramadan. Back to when groups of invaders never gathered in city centres, intimidating and abusing. Back to when Pride marches never existed. Back to when a man would never dream of entering women's toilets or locker rooms. Back to when a man wanting to compete against a woman in a women-only event would have been laughed at and shamed. Back to when biological facts were FACTS. Back to when one income could support a family. Back to when tv shows and movies were for entertainment, not propagandising and pushing agendas. Back to when the EU never existed. Back to when BRITAIN WAS GREAT.

This is a very Great day for Britain. With clarity and without circus, Rupert Lowe has defined what so many of us know will restore our once proud nation. He is the truest of men. Ben Habib has proven himself to be everything he promised. A man, not in it for himself, but for the belief that ordinary British people deserve better. And he will work with Rupert to deliver the structural scaffolding to accelerate the political mega-might that is this new party. Elon Musk could see the power of this thing from across the pond, and is backing Rupert and his team to deliver it. I have waited and worked twenty years for this moment. And I could not be more grateful to still be alive to see it come. We have hope. Rupert, Ben and the RESTORE team are the beacon on the hill. Somehow, at some point in the last few years it has become acceptable to publicly mock trans people. This isn’t about vulnerable women’s spaces, or women’s sport, it’s about delighting in declaring your disgust for a tiny minority of other humans and it has to stop.
