I see anti-Marathon crowd talking about being gamers while also looking forward to cheering on layoffs or shutdowns. It is very anti-gamer to want to put game developers out of jobs. I've never seen people cheer for layoffs of any job, but I guess the world is more hateful now.

The choice to make Marathon will result in Bungie closing or being re-assigned. This is why Steam numbers matter, btw. Just like sales. Commercial AAA gaming is not for art projects and participation awards.

Crimson Desert is entering a strong weekend with 206k players. Imagine how much more it would have been if Game Journalists hadn't tried to kill it. I have about 30 hours into Crimson Desert and it's probably one of my all time favs. Wish I had more time to play.
