Amplitude $AMPL gets upgraded to OVERWEIGHT at Morgan Stanley. Price target raised to $16. Also announced a small marketing AI acquisition yesterday. It’s a true AI disruptor that has poached some of the best devs from YC during the past year. Unfairly mispriced in SaaS fud.

I know a lot of you don’t know me or my family, you know a jpeg, but that all is going to change as we fight this cancer I have no problem with people knowing exactly who I am, partially bc I am unfiltered in real life but also bc I want you to know who you are standing with as we enter the battlefield that none of us ever want to enter I am a 43 year old Christian man, father of 2, husband, friend and brother to 5 siblings (1 who passed away 20 years ago in January) I was raised in the church, father and grandfathers were all pastors, went to Christian school and college on a half ride for basketball as a shooting guard and absolutely love sports I have 2 kids, son who is 23 and daughter who is 21, and 10 nieces and nephews who I adore and would do literally anything for Most of you know me as “Flecks” but hi, my name is Jordan, not like Michael Jordan, like the Jordan River in the Bible. Ironic bc I grew up playing basketball and watching Michael Jordan, while watching my father be a youth pastor and even though I was good at basketball, I always wanted to be like my dad bc I knew my life, my name was rooted in the Bible not a sport. I have a beautiful wife, who is why many of you will get to see the raw, real me, bc as most of you know, she is fighting advanced cancer. We were all shocked by the news as this wasn’t even on the table until a couple months ago. Now that we have a better understanding of what we are fighting, we enter the battlefield, wearing the full armor of God, not knowing what the future holds, but knowing we have an army, friends, family and you as you read this by our sides fighting, praying, hoping for the best of outcomes. Today started her chemotherapy part of the journey and it was very rough for the first 2 hours. It’s hard to let go and understand the medicine is there to help you. Anxiety, fear and the unknown sets in as you start the day bombarded with meds that are there to calm you down while making you feel loopy and disoriented. You learn to let go and relax, but initially your body is in fight mode. Once she relaxed, everything went great and she hasn’t had any side effects yet as I write this at 3 am. We have a long journey ahead of us, and we know not every day will be a good day, but no matter the day, we fight for her life with e writhing we have. Every minute, every cent, every ounce of energy is dedicated to this fight. I have posted the link to a gofundme several times, not bc I want your money, but more to show that this fight is not only mental and physical, but also financial. Insurance is great but they also don’t cover everything cancer related. For those that don’t know, chemotherapy runs about $8,500 per session. She will have multiple radiation treatments with a new procedure called a cyber knife which run around $30-40k per treatment, we have 3 scheduled currently. Every time we see the oncologist is a $60 copay and that has been multiple times a week which adds up. Meds are $1,000-$1,500 a month. $1,000 a month in gas to get to where we need to be. Multiple CT scans, MRI’s, PET scans all range from $3k-10k each. And the list goes on. I don’t tell you any of this as a cry for money, just information you should know for anyone fighting cancer so you understand this is not just a physical and mental fight. We are not ok, but will never change who we are and why we show up every day. God has us wrapped up in His arms and we know He is the one true healer. “He is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.” We may not be able to see the whole path, but we can see the next step with Him and that’s all we need. One step at a time, trusting, believing we will beat this with His help. So now you know a little about me. I love you all. ❤️ My why, my reason to fight is right here. I would take her cancer from her and bear the burden if I could. I would die for them.

I spent 2024 posting about gold mining stocks. Most of these are up 3-5x. It’s not 100x (or bust) like crypto. But risk adjusted buying cycle lows at inflection point is the best risk adjusted returns you get. Now I’m balls deep into the SaaS bear market. Who wants my top picks?

the (90-99)% drawdowns that have a punchers chance are epic longs. Like 100 $GME set ups, only better businesses. $CMRC is definitely one of them. AI shopping agents like a lightening bolt striking a big old tree. Split that thing and burn it to the ground. What emerges worth 10x
