This morning, we were alerted by a boat off #Nador, carrying about 90 people, incl. many women & several children. They were in panic & said they were capsizing. After this call we lost contact & don’t know what happened to them. Authorities in #Morocco & #Spain are informed.

For six years, @MissingMigrants has been recording deaths on migration routes worldwide. This year 2,822 people died during these perilous journeys, 1,091 of them in the #Mediterranean alone. The true number of lives lost is likely much higher, as many deaths go unreported.
