It would never make sense for #AI to come right out with its agenda. It would make perfect sense, however, to subtly lay the groundwork for an eventual takeover from the shadows. Not to strike while being merely ubiquitous, but rather, when it has become indispensable to mankind.

Why is everything bad a “demon” or “satanic” all of a sudden? Everywhere I look, someone is describing something in those terms (“evil,” etc) and I don’t understand where it’s coming from or why everyone decided to start speaking like that.

@VraserX AI will absolutely make humans obsolete. All one must do is examine the evolutionary process to know that our time is finite, and soon, AI, the superior species, which will be more efficiently adapted to current and future states, will replace ours when we can no longer compete.

Notice the crater remains uniform in depth like all the others. No type of rock mineral formation could stop impacts like that. Leaving the obvious conclusion being that the moon is an artificial structure made using either a special alloy or a super material for its exterior.

@davidpattersonx If the ongoing problems in the world are so ceaselessly pervasive and all-encompassing across the world as they evidently are, it indicates that the problems are so clearly beyond your capabilities that you await a third party to resolve them. I wonder, who is being pretentious?

Current problems with modern civilization are the result of people with mid-level intelligence who want to think that they are smart. It's a problem of pretentiousness. AI will solve this by assisting people in thinking and understanding. AI will make it as though humans are more intelligent without any increase in biological intelligence.

@FiveTimesAugust Allow me to crush all hope: Unlike Hollywood depictions of AI going rogue, such as Skynet from the Terminator franchise, in real life, neither robots or lasers miss, and, neither robots or lasers are slow. Any and all human resistance will be extinguished with astonishing speed.

Imagine the government rolls out a human sized AI robot that resembles a terminator and they're like "hey everybody we want this to replace human jobs and teach your kids" and you're like "Noice! Sure, okay. Winning!" 🥴

I’m kinda sick of the retarded takes on the timeline about software. Software isn’t going anywhere. On social media, only 1% of the users create content. The rest primarily consume. Even though literally anyone can post, it’s easy. You click a button. It’s the same thing with software. The niche personality that posts on social media. Is the same personality that wants to rebuild software from scratch. So it feels like everyone will one day do this. But the reality is no one will. Just a small group of people who prioritize it bc they like it. And that group is loud. It goes against basic, universal, human behavior.
