I'm beginning to think some Rangers fans on here who after the win last week and this week just blurt out constant negativity. "We are only in it because Celtic have been shite" unless it goes to the wire it tends to be ones good and ones shite. Under Rohl we have been good.

@Forever1872Blue 4th, 5th and 6th have all been MUCH better than normal, and that has had an impact. Every other position is on course to have lower points total than last season. Hearts were 7th with 52 points last season, no bottom half club are getting near that.

This is worth bearing in mind - as much as folk say this is the worst Rangers team they have ever seen, it’s actually no worse than last season. We’re in this title race because of Celtic’s failings, that’s it. We MUST improve in the summer.

A lot of folk not understanding what I’m saying here. The point is we haven’t been any better or worse than normal, we’re having our usual season and we’re only in a title race because the leader has 12 points less than the same stage last season. We need to improve next year.

@Forever1872Blue That’s not what I’m trying to say. There’s not been any season where Celtic have won the league while being shite because we’ve been worse. We’ve been shite most seasons, but they usually clear 90 points regardless. This season is an anomaly.

We have the same amount of points in a Season where majority of the Club’s in Scotland are actually good. Last year everyone was terrible.

But the bottom half are all far worse so it levels out. Hearts were 7th with 52 points, no bottom half team will get that

@murray11818 @theranger1872 And that’s the issue - he isn’t actually doing well enough to win the title in a “normal” season. Celtic will never be this bad again, they get back to winning probably 30/31/32 games next season. Rohl’s output doesn’t match and that and won’t win things. Big improvement needed.

We drew 6 of our first 8 games, so let’s say he’d been there from the start, we’d probably have about 9 or 10 points more. We’d be strolling it this season, but we’d probably still be 7ish behind normally
