@gatorgar He’s mocking her specifically for her own behavior, which I don’t think anyone would disagree has been very cringe and off putting since she’s been in the spotlight. She’s the one who chose to be a public figure in the wake of his death - she’s not a saint

I want to take a minute and pause. Zoom out with me. Let’s look at the big picture here. We are a society that has, for better or for worse, decided blackface/whiteface and racial caricature in general goes against our values. We are also a society that is making an exception for that rule, so long as we’re making fun of and attacking the widow of a man who was brutally murdered in cold blood. Taking these two datapoints into account, we are a society that deserves some plagues or even an asteroid at this point. I can assure you with my whole chest, that if this were a White person doing blackface to smear the widow of an assassinated Democrat, my reaction would be no different. Participating in this is a one way path to Hell. Go along with it at your own risk, but don’t come crying to me about “social order” or the “division” in this country ever again.

@john_woody @shortmagsmle I care in the sense that we never should have had boots on the ground to be easy targets for terrorists in the region to pick off for 20 years, and I care that we’re stumbling our way into another idiotic iteration of the same blueprints as before

@PeepeeSprinkle @shortmagsmle No, I absolutely served, and served in theater. And Iran killed thousands of us and we are well aware that assholes like you don’t give a flying fuck about that.

Was anyone a bigger let down than “Mad Dog” Mattis? There was always this hype around him but ultimately he turned out to be an old guy telling troops to hold their fire, passing around a Reddit-tier reading list, and doing paid speaking gigs about liberal democracy and rugged chungus military equality
Megatron@Megatron_ron

NEW: 🇮🇷🇺🇸 General Jim Mattis slams Trump's war strategy on Iran, live on TV “hitting 15,000 targets means nothing without a real plan, and calls the demands for unconditional surrender and regime change absolute delusional nonsense.”

@john_woody @shortmagsmle I’d rather be labeled a “terror simp” for being against this pointless war than be someone who considers 14 of our soldiers dying to be “nothing.” I assume you didn’t serve and just see that as a number on a scoreboard. Those are real people who died for nothing.

@PeepeeSprinkle @shortmagsmle 14 dead is nothing. Iran has killed thousands of us. Those soldiers died revenging their lost comrades. Radars are nothing. Billions of dollars lol. Somalians stole $8B from Minnesota alone and nobody batted an eye. Get fucked terror simp.

@shortmagsmle @norwalkiian A better question might be - at what point would you consider it not worth the cost? 100 US troops killed? An aircraft shot down? $500 billion spent?

@norwalkiian @PeepeeSprinkle The Pentagon always needs $200 billion. If it’s not for bombing Iran, it’s for climate change or combating antisemitism or promoting equality in African tribes. That’s a separate problem. I’m simply pointing out that the military side of this is going fine so far.

@john_woody @shortmagsmle 14 dead soldiers, hundreds wounded, early warning systems destroyed, billions of dollars spent, sanctions on Russian and Iranian oil dropped… and all of that so we could replace Khammeni with his son?

@PeepeeSprinkle @shortmagsmle The war was a win or bigger win. That’s why we did this. This has been fucking awesome so far. We can just bomb the regime forever until they cry uncle you know. They can’t hurt us at all. You know they can’t hurt us. It’s ok to just win dude.

@PeepeeSprinkle @shortmagsmle Help which we totes don’t need, but also if they don’t give us that help we’re going to be really mad at them and might leave NATO over it

@norwalkiian @shortmagsmle *add to that the embarrassing debacle with the Strait of Hormuz, where we suddenly realized maybe we need a coalition to support us after all and begged for Europe to help

@shortmagsmle @PeepeeSprinkle Great. So if what you’re listing constitutes successfully achieving our objectives, why are 10,000 soldiers getting deployed? Why does the Pentagon need $200 billion extra? It’s almost like… all of what you listed has nothing whatsoever to do with success.

@PeepeeSprinkle @shortmagsmle You, obviously, aren't familiar with Scott Adams and the fog of war. Mattis has no way of knowing what is going on so his "points" are irrelevant.

@shortmagsmle The regime figures who were taken out have been replaced and the regime is still in control. They still have military capability, have inflicted damage on our bases in the region and killed servicemembers, and are now blocking the Strait of Hormuz

@PeepeeSprinkle I mean, their Air Force and navy are destroyed, their head of state and several down the line of succession killed, a few thousand military targets knocked out, much of their manifesting base gone…seems to be going our way. Not what I’d consider a terrible execution

@shortmagsmle But you can admit the goals as they were initially stated have shifted or been forgotten about (as in regime change, nuclear program, eliminating the IRGC). I don’t think it’s out of line to say the planning and execution have been flimsy

@PeepeeSprinkle I’m not certain that’s the case and neither is he. We’ll see what shakes out but if you put aside any punditry, this has been a few weeks of aerial sorties and targeted killings that has seemingly worked out okay overall. Could change. But Mattis is out of line here imo

@PeepeeSprinkle I didn’t see any. The guy is salty because he was SECDEF and commander of CENTCOM and accomplished very little and is now coming up short after being compared to someone who is not focused on climate change funding

@shortmagsmle In which way is Hegseth “winning the war”? This doesn’t seem like commentary on the war at all. I’d think McChrystal is probably smart enough to recognize that the correct approach would have been to advise against this pointless war in the first place

I’ll never forget Sam Hyde during his video about Charlie when he just said “this is you” over & over. If you’re to the right of Bernie Sanders, this is how they see you. They’ll shoot you in the neck then make fun of your widow afterwards. Remember this when engaging with them.

To put internal pressure on the remaining Iranian elements. So doubt. Force them to respond. Stay ahead of the information. War. It's not always so much the specific words as it is the strategic intent. Obviously they are related. But watching what he does is way more important. It's multi-level and difficult for people who are predisposed to be automatically against to really comprehend.

The clearest sign Trump is telling the truth and that we actually close to winning this war? The media has had to scrape the bottom of the barrel, dragging out the most partisan hacks they can find to keep pretending America is losing and this operation is a total disaster. In the first week, they had real military experts I know and trust questioning Trump’s motives. By weeks two and three, they were down to RINOs like Rear Admiral Mark Montgomery and liberals like Admiral Stavridis, both willing to admit there had been clear success while still tossing in a few cheap shots at Trump and showing real risks ahead. Now MSM is left with promoting the absolute worst partisan operatives imaginable, people like Rear Admiral Kirby and Jake Sullivan, or disgraced generals with chips on their shoulders, like Mattis and McChrystal, or absolute loony birds like Malcolm Nance.
