Israel’s bulldozers are wiping out civilian homes, tourist sites, and hotels in Naqoura, South Lebanon. Not military targets. South Lebanon is being erased — like Gaza before it. This is an American-backed, American-funded genocide.

So the MAGA position right now is we used to love Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Joe Rogan, Alex Jones, Candace Owens, Theo Von, Shawn Ryan, Thomas Massie, and Marjorie Taylor Greene but they all turned crazy at the exact same time? Did I get that right?

@elonmusk A lot of talk about 'racist politicians' from the guy whose company (Tesla) was sued by the EEOC for 'systemic open racism' against Black employees. DOGE is currently being sued for allegedly using AI to target and defund Black cultural and civil rights programs.

South Africa won’t allow Starlink to be licensed, even though I was BORN THERE, simply because I am not Black! We were offered many times the opportunity to bribe our way to a license by pretending that a Black guy runs Starlink SA, but I have refused to do so on principle. Racism should not be rewarded no matter to which race it is applied. Shame on the racist politicians in South Africa. They should be shown no respect whatsoever anywhere in the world and shunned for being unashamedly RACISTS!
DogeDesigner@cb_doge

Why Elon Musk is RIGHT to fight South Africa’s racist rules blocking Starlink? Imagine this: Long ago, South Africa had very unfair laws called apartheid. They treated Black people badly and kept them from good jobs and money. When those bad laws ended, the country made new rules (called B-BBEE) to help Black people get a fair share of business. The idea was good – like a big helping hand. But now? For companies like Starlink to sell fast internet, they MUST give away 30% of their business to Black partners. Just because of skin color. Elon Musk was born in South Africa. He left as a teen to chase big dreams. Today, his company SpaceX wants to bring Starlink – super fast satellite internet – to South Africa. But the rules say no unless they give up part of the company. Elon said it right: “Starlink is not allowed because I’m not Black.” SpaceX promised to spend about $30 million (that’s 500 million rand!) to give FREE high-speed internet to 5,000 rural schools. That helps over 2.4 MILLION kids every year learn better, get jobs later, and have a brighter future. Real help for the people who need it most! Starlink already works in about 24 other African countries. Villages there now have internet for school, doctors, and business. South Africa’s villages are missing out because of these racist rules. Elon isn’t asking for special favors. He just wants fair play so Starlink can connect everyone fast. Internet = education, jobs, hope. Why hold back millions of kids over rules that pick by race and color?

Too on point not to share, “Aussie reply to Trump rant about NATO not being there for us. Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage. You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail. Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates. Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you. And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban thanked you very much for losing again. And you're calling Greenland poorly run? Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no. "NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years. And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess. So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your fucking mouth. Credit (borrowed from) Jim Scroggins - original author 📷 unknown”

Cultural wins don't pay the rent. You can close the border and change sports rules, but if the 'Epstein class' is still rigging the economy and shipping our wealth overseas, the average person is still going to be priced out of a life. Real 'better' requires actual accountability for the people at the top.

I'm saying what everyone is actually thinking but too afraid to say. Trump 2.0 sucks ass. The MAGA grifters and shills don't want to lose their acces to fancy Mar-a-Lago parties and White House press briefings. It's the sunken cost fallacy. They can't go back now or they risk exposing themselves and having their audiences turn on them. I will always be totally authentic with you all. It's been a wild ride the past few years... but I appreciate you all. God bless.

I appreciate the civil back-and-forth. While the 'word choice' might be debatable, the mission the Pope is highlighting—addressing extreme poverty with honesty and moral sense—is something most people can get behind. If we can move past the political terminology, there's a lot of important work to be done. Take care.

@Brian_Murray111 @TomFitton @Pontifex So, when the Apostles 'distributed' to those in need, it was holy, but when the Pope suggests a 'more equitable distribution,' it's Marxism? What exactly did he say that I obviously missed?

@PixelIntegrated @TomFitton @Pontifex It is still Marxist language, and the pope and the Vatican seem to have grabbed quite a bit of that disproportionate wealth, and used it on many shiny things. And he didn’t say anything like what you are saying, and he probably wouldn’t have received pushback if he had.

@OfoegbuRos1916 @MattWalshBlog The judge’s ruling wasn't about the app; it was about the government's attempt to strip legal status from people who did exactly what they were told to do. That’s not 'border crossing'—it's basic due process.

@PixelIntegrated @MattWalshBlog They are border crossers. Biden turned a trucking app to an immigration app with a stroke of a pen, no legislation. Trump with a stroke of a pen can reverse it, it's what executive orders are. Won't surprise me if the supreme court stricks this down like it has struck down others

The illegal immigration issue is not difficult or complex or nuanced. If they came here illegally, they need to leave. That's it. End of story. "But what if they've been here for 10 years???" They need to leave. "But what if they haven't committed any other crimes???" Leave. "But what if they have a family???" Leave. This isn't hard at all. We have laws in this country. You broke the law. You don't belong here. Nothing personal. But get the hell out. It should not be hard for elected Republicans to articulate this point. If they do have trouble articulating it -- if they take any position on illegal immigration except for this -- they can also go. That's not complicated either.

Brian, the 'language' you’re calling Marxist is actually the language of Catholic Social Teaching, which has been around since long before Marx was born. The Church teaches the Universal Destination of Goods—the idea that God created the earth for everyone, not just for those who can grab the most. Calling a 2,000-year-old moral demand for 'equitable distribution' Marxism is just a way to avoid the fact that the Gospel challenges your political comfort zone. If you 'see no issue' with voluntary communal sharing, then you agree with the Pope. He’s not calling for a state-run gulag; he’s calling for 'moral sense and honesty' in how we handle resources. You're getting hung up on the word 'distribution' as if it's a political trigger, but in the New Testament, it was the literal solution to extreme poverty. Why is it 'voluntary' when the Apostles do it, but 'Marxism' when the Pope suggests we try it again?

Brian, you might want to re-read Acts 4:32-35. It literally says the early believers 'held everything in common' and that money was 'distributed to each as anyone had need.' If that sounds like 'Marxist language' to you, then you’re essentially calling the foundations of the Christian Church Marxist. The Pope isn't inventing new concepts; he’s citing the original ones.

It seems to me, that the scriptures encourage charity, and helping the poor, not Marxism. I also don’t think it is accurate to label this as calling everything one doesn’t like as Marxist. And I don’t recall anything that talks about wealth distribution (Marxist language) and taking from one to distribute it to another.l in the New Testament.

Loretta, the Pope isn't arguing against the existence of jobs; he’s arguing for the dignity of the people working them. Creating a million jobs doesn't mean much if those workers still can’t afford the basic 'resources' he’s talking about while the 'disproportionate wealth' stays at the very top. You can support capitalism and still believe that the current distribution is, as he put it, an 'unjust scenario.

He could start by addressing the massive corporate acquisitions of single-family homes and ending the tax breaks for institutional investors that outbid actual families. Building more is only half the battle if they’re all bought up by private equity before a first-time buyer even sees the listing.
