Given everyone’s margins in Virginia, no one would’ve won. Someone else would’ve made it closer. But the fate of that state was sealed when we stated firing federal workers, which we had to do. Which isn’t to say that she’s not a bad candidate. It’s not race though. Condi Rice would’ve done better, despite her connections to Bush.

I feel like our culture is not their prom dress. These guys seem new to election analysis. White men who lost in 2021/2022: Adam Laxalt, Blake Masters, Jack Ciattarelli, Donald Bolduc, Joe O’Dea, Scott Jensen, Doug Mastriano, Tim Michels, Derek Schmidt, and many more. The environment has a lot to do with it. We won in Virginia today because Dems are overreaching with their redistricting. And Vivek isn’t going to lose if he’s the nominee. At worst, he’ll win narrowly (like DeWine in 2018) and then everyone will say he was rescued by Amy Acton.

Yesterday, Germany and Japan refused Trump's request to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz. That’s the specific reference in the prior post. They’re not alone, but... These are the two nations who 1) rely most heavily on the U.S. to defend them against aggression given non-militarization agreements post-WWII, and 2) have enormous latent power (soft power convertible to military power). They’re not willing to do it in our preemptive wars, a lesson we should have fucking learned 20 years ago. Japan has been debating for years now as to whether they should junk it fully in light of the threat from North Korea. We have to rob Peter to pay Paul, meaning rob that region of interceptors to replace dwindling U.S. and (even more so) Israeli stockpiles. How safe do you think that makes Japan feel, and how much help did you expect them to want to lend with them easily in range of Iranian allies' ICBMs? This entire thing has been a miscalculation by Trump so grave, I am honestly having a difficult time accepting it. I honestly didn't think he would make decisions with such consequences spanning from short to longterm. There's no 4D Chess Plan, so please save that unserious, straight up childish talk. It's wishful thinking and it's not real. It's a sad reality we all will have to face. The high school juice head nobody wanted to fight due to their sheer physical deterrence, got punched in the nose. It turns out, he bleeds like everyone else and wasn't particularly prepared to take the hit. That's an accurate image comparison.

Rebuked by NATO allies who know now they cannot rely on the U.S. for their security, and will act accordingly to secure security for the future. War not going well, and even if it was, the Gulf security agreement has been weakened forever, and they'll do the same. The most likely outcome as of now? Israel gets stronger in the region. We get weaker from Europe to Southeast Asia. It was a massive mistake that could seriously rival Iraq and they haven't even put expeditionary units on the ground yet. Those are the realities. It's an incredible miscalculation by a president who ran on making the country stronger precisely by NOT making foolish errors and starting stupid new wars in the Middle East.

My name is John Alan Perry. I’m a Conservative teacher at @LCPSOfficial in VA. On January 23rd, I was recommended for termination by the superintendent because I made right-leaning political posts on my personal X account. LCPS claims that my online comments violated school policy and "disrupted the learning environment." This is false. I did nothing but build relationships with the kids, parents and staff in the short time I was there - just like I’ve done in every school/district I’ve ever been a part of. The district, bowing to about 5 parents (whose kids weren’t even in my class), unfairly targeted me because I'm a conservative teacher expressing my constitutionally protected speech. Because of all of this, I have a final appeals hearing next month that will pretty much end my teaching career.

You notice that alot of the counties with the highest percentage of early voting are red counties that would be stuck with Fairfax County if redistricting passes. If you don’t want Fairfax representing your county, vote “NO” between now and April 21st. vpap.org/visuals/visual…

SERIOUS SEVERE WEATHER: The Storm Prediction Center has UPGRADED to a rare Level 4 out of 5 severe weather risk for Monday in the Mid-Atlantic. This includes Washington D.C., Richmond, Raleigh, Charlotte and part of South Carolina! In the red zone, there is an increasing concern for a couple supercells that could produce an isolated EF2+ tornado, and given fast storm motions, we can't rule out a longer-track tornado as well. This risk tier happens 3 times per decade on average in our area; the last times in D.C. were August 7, 2023 and April 19, 2019. These risk tiers are reserved for only the most substantial, higher-impact severe weather events that are somewhat reminiscent of what I chase out west. Dangerous storms, some of which may produce 60-75 mph wind gusts, are likely. A few rotating supercells with tornado potential could crop up, and we'll also likely see a few brief spin-up tornadoes within the main squall line that should come through during the evening hours. School districts – use Sunday to plan. Multiple rounds of potentially dangerous storms, including with some tornado risk, are likely in some spots.

🚨New: Fairfax County parents tell me their girls were groped in between their legs front to back during school by an adult male student who happens to be an illegal immigrant and that this has been happening the entire school year.
