That might be true for someone who needs to lose 50-200 lbs but we are talking about a human whos weight topped 1000lbs before his death. Thats a minimum of 800lbs of extra fat. In his situation he did need to fast quite a lot to save his own life but it didnt happen and now hes dead before 30.

@benljohnson1996 No this is a bad deadlift. You make a fair point about the rounded back, lots of people can probably get away with some level of spinal curvature, but it’s clear by her lack of hip hinge and posterior chain engagement that she’s pulling with her back instead of hammys & glutes.

This is a great example of how far behind we still are when it comes to exercise science knowledge.
Someone performs a deadlift with less than a 100% ‘flat back’ and people lose their minds.
We’ve got strength coaches in the comments claiming guaranteed injury from this type of technique.
Absolute morons.
We have no evidence to suggest that lifting with a flexed spine increases risk of injury.
We do have evidence to suggest that disc herniations can happen even when the spine is in neutral.
We also have evidence to suggest that the spine always flexes when you deadlift - regardless of whether you want it to or not.
The injury risk during resistance training is extremely low overall (2-4 injuries per 1000 participation hours).
Humans are built in a wide variety of ways and therefore will move in a wide variety of different ways *shock*.
Stop fear mongering people away from lifting weights.

@DeanTTraining Only works if you’re not strong enough for normal pullups. That’s a waste of time for those of us that can get 15+ strict pullups already, we need weighted ones instead. Trick is just to ensure proper form and to go to failure. Steady progressive overload no matter the exercise

As mentioned half a year ago, $NIO at the 4's to 5's probably is a decent entry zone if you're into this name. It was showing signs of flipping bullish on very high time frame, and we are seeing more higher highs and higher lows here which is looking more promising.
It's still forming a base and could still need time before a strong bull trend can be developed, but it's a good set-up IMO into 2026-2027.
I don't have a position.
I'm tempted by the technicals, but I don't have enough money.

The NIO ES8 just hit the 90K delivery mark. It’s only been 195 days since deliveries kicked off on September 21, 2025.
Our timeline chart shows NIO’s delivery pace is clearly accelerating. Going from 40K to 90K took only about 3 months—even with the Chinese New Year break factored in.
At this rate, hitting the 100K mark is just around the corner.
