@blake_kober @tlschwerz That’s very true, but I’m a dinosaur. Give me a warm, sunny summer evening sitting in stands and I can accept it, and the Pohlads for what it is. Again, I have no problem that others are mad or don’t care, but prefer they don’t tell me how to think about it.

@blake_kober @tlschwerz Like every professional sport, baseball has better athletes than in the past but the game is the same. Hey, I’m not a fan of the Pohlads, and I understand why people are mad, but Calvin Griffith let Carew leave because he wanted a raise from $200k….they could be worse.

I'm excited to head to the Twins' home opener today. I've loved baseball and the #MNTwins for my entire life, and I'm not going to let cheap owners take that away.
I can absolutely respect those who feel spurned and no longer want to support the team. What I can't respect are those who tell other fans how they should feel or what they should do. It's an individual decision for each fan to make.
Like everyone else, I'm extremely disappointed in the decisions the Pohlads have made since the 2023 playoffs. In an ideal world, they'd sell the team to someone more committed to spending what it takes to win (or bump payroll back up themselves).
With that said, I'll be a regular at Target Field this year because it brings me joy, win or lose, and I want to support the players on the field.
Let's go get a W today.

What have the fans done wrong to break the relationship, and why do fans have to do anything to repair it? We paid for the Pohlad’s stadium. We drank their $15 beer. We paid their ticket service fees. We devoted time and care to substandard rosters. We’ve done plenty.

According to the report, Hudson informed officers that he was carrying a firearm and voluntarily handed over a 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun. Officers confirmed that he had a valid permit to carry. Engen stated that both passengers had been drinking, the report says.

Now, we have 4 classes and less students. It’s watered down significantly which benefits private schools.

My father-in-law has been a Twins season ticket holder since 2003. He did not renew for this year. I hope many others did the same.
