If the Catholic Church wants you to baptize your baby then parishes should probably be more welcoming to those babies. Filling out a baptism form and this is so rude 💀 we don’t have to take a class bc this isn’t our first rodeo but what do they expect first-time parents to do if they can’t bring their baby along with them especially if the child is still young and breast-fed? Absolutely crazy to me

@avidseries I don't know what % of your tweets I agree with, but they're always thought provoking and I enjoy reading the comments. I feel like I agree with a good amount of them. I'm conservative
English

I have a mix of conservative, liberal and centrist followers. It's not possible for me to tweet without making a decent percentage of my followers angry.
But I'm wondering if you are in that very small percentage of my followers who find yourself agreeing with my tweets at least 80% of the time.
If you are, please reply in the affirmative, and provide a brief description of your political orientation, if you don't mind.

@NoblestCalling I took a lunch box to the park for my three kids after school yesterday. They're always ravenous. I stupidly only brought one water bottle for us four, so we left when the water ran out bc they were sweaty messes. We were there for *only* two hours, which is less than normal 😅
English

I don't have my kids attached at the hip to their water bottle, but the "water and snacks at the park discourse" is funny because a) since COVID public water fountains that are functioning are quite rare and b) we literally spend hours at the park sometimes and it's warm out so this is one circumstance where we actually do need to bring water and sometimes snacks. I guess it's fine if you're a 30 minute park kind of family.

@TiffaniMarie483 Out of my 3 kids, only one lined up his toys.
I know I'll get jumped for this, but it can be a sign of autism. He's our kiddo with "borderline" autism as the testers called it.

@martyrdison I share mine with my husband and parents.
It's a relief to see where they are with accidents constantly happening on the roads.
It's also helpful for me knowing when my husband is headed home from work so I can get the kids to clean up their bikes/scooters off the driveway

i once dated someone and we got into a playful argument about why they wouldn’t share location
“i’m a very private person, this feels like it’s moving too fast, that’s a big step”
months later, after it didn’t work out, we were friends and i said “ok i need your location for logistics”
he admitted the real reason he wouldn’t share it was because he never left the house and didn’t want anyone to see

@thruforestswild @SamLovesHummus The people who say you never need a stroller obviously did not have three kids in three years and enjoy outdoor activities. I used my Bob on rocky terrain + baby wore at the same time!
English

@SamLovesHummus The mom discourse on here is crazy sometimes 😂 Yes, some say you never need a stroller because you can just baby wear. You’ve never heard of a wagon?? Where are you from? (Honest question)
English

Strollers and diaper bags are stupid but also super necessary but also if you use one you’re probably type A and if you use both you’re definitely neurotic and also it’s probably your first baby because experienced moms would *never* use something like a diaper bag or a stroller because pockets and wagons also exist but also if you don’t buy expensive versions of both you’re just a mommy martyr.
Because IN NO UNIVERSE is it possible for people to have different but equally valid opinions on these things based on personal preference and experience, that would be absolutely insane.
Did I about cover it all?

@FiredUpCoug This happened to me the other day while I had just parked in the garage with my three young kids.
I told him my kids were sick (they weren't) and he didn't want to get near us, then closed the garage

Just passed a friend in her driveway holding her toddler, baby in a stroller, getting cornered by a door-to-door salesman she clearly didn’t want to talk to.
I called out, “Hey, is now a good time?” walked right up, stepped between them, and started talking to her about what I needed to bring for dinner on Sunday. (We do not have dinner plans.)
He didn’t take the hint, so I turned and said, “Have a good one.” Then I walked her inside.
She was shaking. He’d been there for 20 minutes, ignoring her saying she wasn’t interested and that she needed to feed her baby.
Really glad I happened to be walking by.
