It is the people of Iran who will decide, after the overthrow of the Islamic Republic, who and what system of government will rule Iran. In the streets, millions of Iranians have chanted the name Pahlavi. I hope you and Ms. Amanpour have the courage to accept the truth. Ms. Amanpour is someone who, almost 30 years ago, interviewed President Rafsanjani of the Islamic Republic on Iranian state television ,a man whose hands were stained with the blood of young Iranians. Even though she knew that the prisons of the Islamic Republic were full of political prisoners, she repeated the Islamic president’s claim that there were no political prisoners in Iran.

What ever transpires in the coming days and weeks my thoughts are with the people inside Iran who’s main worry is not attack by Israel or the US but from their own government who are brutally cracking down right now arresting & executing a large number of innocent people to strike fear in the population to stop an uprising. This is the reality of a regime clinging to power at any cost. #IranIsraelConflict
